Pain spread through my chest like countless needles pricking me. 1 nodded and was about to leave when Stella blocked my path.
“You think you can leave? Not so fast,”
“Caroline Tanner, just being in the same school as someone like you makes me sick. If you have any sense, you’d apply for withdrawal right now.”
I smiled.

“Why? Because I have evidence that proves you’re nothing but a cheap slut!”
Stella Tanner pulled out a stack of photos, and Landon Banks‘ face immediately changed.
The photos featured me with a man who looked to be in his fifties or sixties.
Some showed us drinking together, some had me massaging his shoulders, others captured me asleep on his shoulder, and there were even ones where he held my hand, whispering in my ear. We
looked unusually intimate.
One of the most shocking images was of me in the bathroom, my back exposed. Judging by the background, it must have been taken back when I still lived at the Tanner household. I never imagined Stella could be so malicious as to take those photos.
Stella handed the photos to others, who began shaking their heads and clicking their tongues in
mockery:
“Who would’ve thought? Caroline Tanner always acted so pure, like a goddess, but behind the
scenes, she’s even dirtier than an escort.”
“When I tried to pursue her in freshman year and she rejected me, I thought it was because she was classy. Good thing she said no; otherwise, I’d be disgusted to death. She can cozy up to an old man like that? The money she spent on Landon and all those gifts must’ve been earned in bed.”

Stella had someone snap photos of the stack and upload them to WhatsApp Moments. She smiled

A flicker of pain flashed in Landon’s eyes as he stepped forward.
“Stella, isn’t this a bit too…”
Before he could finish, Stella slapped him hard across his already swollen cheek.
“Shut up. Don’t think I don’t know. It was you who stole my negatives. Do you think I’d have to go. through all this trouble otherwise?”
“Landon, I guess you haven’t had enough beatings yet.
My heart sank. So the bruises on Landon’s face were her doing?
Landon pursed his lips, taking Stella’s hand and saying softly,
“Stella, you’re overthinking it. I don’t even know where you keep your negatives. How could I have stolen them?”
“Your godparents are about to arrive. You’re the future heiress of the Forbs Corporation. This is your first time meeting them. What if they see this and it affects their impression of you?”
I frowned. Which Forbs Corporation?

Stella’s expression softened slightly as she snorted and said with a smile,
“What’s there to worry about? My godparents don’t have children. Their only daughter was stolen at birth–she’s probably dead by now.”
“From now on, I’ll be their only child. They’ll be begging me to take care of them in their old age. If they knew I was being bullied by trash like her, they’d probably want to kill her.”
Moments later, the photos had been uploaded to WhatsApp. The entire comment section was filled with people calling me shameless and a cheap escort.
Landon Banks picked up his phone, but Stella Tanner’s sharp eyes caught him.

Stella nodded approvingly, her gaze filled with satisfaction as she admired the insults under my photos.
Suddenly, as if a thought struck her, she gave me a once over and said meaningfully,
“Only having photos of her back isn’t enough. Strip her. Let everyone see the alluring figure of South City University’s queen of scandals.”
The group began advancing toward me. I took two steps back and shouted sternly,
“I am the real heiress of Forbs Corporation! Dare to lay a hand on me!”
“Caroline Tanner, stop spouting nonsense!” Landon scolded me harshly.
The group burst into laughter.
