They were in a car headed to the hospital. 

Orion was driving. He hadn’t witnessed what went down inside, but the sound of gunfire had sent him rushing to check things out.

The group finally made it to the hospital. 

Cloudia and Blaise rushed over as soon as they heard. 

“Rick, how did this happen? Weren’t you meeting Stella? Where’s he hurt?” 

Cloudia was particularly anxious hearing about her son’s injuries. 

Yorick recounted the events, still feeling the tension from that moment as he spoke. 

Thinking back, he realized that if he had said even one more word, Ronald’s gun might have been aimed at him. Cloudia almost fainted when she learned Jaxon’s hands were nearly destroyed.
