Chapter 11
Carissa knew that the marriage certificate was fake!
Warren’s breathing became more rapid, how could she know all this?
In a flash, he recalled the day at the doorstep when Carissa asked about the city hall.
Did she already know the truth from that time?
More and more details emerged from Warren’s mind.
That phone call “canceling the wedding,” the increasingly calm attitude, pushed him towards
Madilyn…
Warren fell to the ground with a look of despair on his face.
So a week ago, she had already planned to leave him, but unfortunately he knew nothing about it
and missed the last chance to win her back.
But he just wanted to help Madilyn, he never thought about separating from Carissa from start to
finish.
How could she be so heartless and resolute to leave him?
At the very least, he should have been given a clear explanation…
Warren had no choice but to repeatedly press that number, even though the screen was already
covered in bloodstains. However, he refused to give up and numbly held onto his phone.
Dimborough Airport.
As soon as Carissa got off the plane, she saw hundreds of missed calls on her phone.
She then remembered that she had forgotten to block Warren as well.
She just couldn’t understand why Warren, at this moment, wasn’t properly accompanying his beloved, and suddenly went crazy for what reason?
While she was daydreaming, the bell rang again. Her finger trembled as she answered the phone.
The next second, Warren’s slightly hoarse voice immediately reached her ears.
“Carie, where are you now? I went to find you so that we could have a good talk…”
No sooner had the words been spoken, Carissa unconsciously furrowed her brow.
“Warren, there’s nothing left to discuss. Ever since you chose Madilyn, we have completely ended
hings between us. Please don’t contact me again in the future. Let’s at least leave each other with a little dignity.”

When Warren heard her say it was over, the string that had been tightly wound in his heart all
fternoon snapped completely.
He shouted angrily with red eyes, “Carissa, we have been together for a whole six years. Don’t you have any trust in me? You won’t even give me a chance to explain!”
Carissa laughed out loud when he was boldly questioned with a sense of righteousness.
“Explanation? Are you trying to explain to me why you got married to Madilyn and yet still had to deceive me with a fake one?”
“Warren, where on earth did you get the nerve to ask me to trust you?”
Warren’s face became increasingly embarrassed, until the last sentence fell, and his entire face turned as red as a pig’s liver.
“Carie, I did those things just to help her, but I have always loved you. Give me another chance, we are about to get married. Please don’t give up at this moment, okay?”
