Chapter 15
When the plane landed in Fieldhurst, it was exactly afternoon.
Greta saw her long–lost teacher, Sharon Welch, outside the arrival gate.
In her senior year, the teacher left Aelhedge University and embarked on the path of
entrepreneurship. After three years of hard work, she successfully established herself in Redmere.
Greta decided to go abroad because she had received her job invitation.
This outstanding young woman in her early thirties got along well with the students at school.
Nowadays, there is no more pretense when entering society. As soon as I saw Greta, I warmly waved
at her.
“Greta! Long time no see!”
Greta pushed the suitcase and walked over, with a smile on her face.
“Ms. Welch, long time no see!”
“I have already resigned, so what’s the point of calling me a teacher? If you don’t mind, you can just
call me Sharon from now on.”
Greta, who was not yet accustomed to the atmosphere of a foreign country, felt a warmness from
this gentle and cheerful temperament.
She didn’t continue to be polite, and simply called out “sister“.
Sharon smiled and agreed, pulling her towards home.
On the way back, the two of them talked about many past events.
From chatting about funny incidents in the classroom to practicing farewells, there were many
emotions at that time.
“Greta, half a year ago you graduated from graduate school, I invited you to come to Starryholt but you didn’t agree at that time, why did you suddenly change your mind?”
Greta’s gaze froze for a moment, but quickly returned to normal.
She thought for a few seconds, carefully considering how to speak.
“At that time, I hadn’t thought about what I would do next, and because of family reasons, I didn’t really want to go abroad, so I didn’t agree with you. But now I understand, since I don’t know what lies ahead, let’s just give it a try and see. Who knows, as I walk along, I might find a new dream.”
Sharon, too, has been through it all and knows that young people who have just entered society are often confused at first. Therefore, she can empathize with her current state of mind and offered a

few comforting words.
“Life, you know, is all about taking one step at a time. Look at me, I spent several years as a teacher in university before realizing that I wasn’t suited for the ivory tower life, and that’s when I decided to go out and see the world. How old are you? Feeling lost is normal, but as long as you take this brave step, I believe you will definitely find your life’s purpose.”
With Sharon as a living example, Greta felt much more at ease, as if she had taken a tranquilizer.
After parking the car, Sharon took her back to the apartment.
A standard layout of two bedrooms and one living room, facing south with abundant sunlight, and there is a supermarket downstairs.
Looking at the tidy and clean room that had been tidied up, Greta felt most of her exhaustion
dissipate.
After Sharon took her around, she then detailed some instructions to her and took her out for a
meal.
After eating, the two of them went to the supermarket and bought some necessary daily necessities.
After delivering her to her home, Sharon did not bother her anymore. She left after leaving her own
address.
Greta took a bath, lay on the bed, and watched as the sky outside gradually darkened, suddenly feeling a sense of unreality.
This time yesterday, she was still in Aelhedge’s villa, wrapped in a blanket, watching the heavy snow outside the window. Today, she has already flown to another city across the ocean, starting a life of living alone, right?
The room was very quiet.
She was lost in her thoughts and soon fell asleep.
Greta had a dream.
In the dream, she sat at Kayson’s wedding venue.
And this time, Luella did not run away from the wedding and married him.
She witnessed them exchanging rings and making a vow to be together for a lifetime.
She left at the moment of a thousand people’s blessings, and returned to the silent campus, burying herself in three years of diligent studying.
After graduation, she flew to Starryholt to start a new life and never went back again.
And in this short life, the only intersection between her and Kayson was those four years as

classmates.
Afterwards, the bridge returned to being a bridge, and the road returned to being a road.
”
She was always the unfamiliar female classmate who couldn’t make him remember her name.
Perhaps because the scenes in the dream were too realistic, Greta woke up the next day feeling a bit
confused.
She couldn’t quite distinguish between reality and dreams, and sat alone on the sofa for a long time.
It was not until noon that Sharon’s phone call finally woke her up.
“Greta, are you up? I am downstairs at your house, let’s have lunch together?”
