Ella POV
After a few minutes, the driver pulled onto a narrow road that looked more like a service entrance. It took me a moment to realize we were entering through a private gate. The driver flashed some kind of ID to security, and we were waved in without hesitation.
“I didn’t know there was another entrance back here,” I sai, glancing around.
“It’s a VIP entrance,” Alexander explained. “With access to the private boxes.”
My eyes widened, and I looked at him, incredulous. “You have a private box?”
“Of course I do,” he said with a laugh. “I usually only come to games for business–meeting with clients, showing off a little. You know, when you’re hosting those kinds of meetings, you need a private space where you can still have conversations. That doesn’t happen in the stands.”
“I guess that makes sense,” I said thoughtfully, though I couldn’t help but add, “Still, it seems like a shame for people to sit in those expensive boxes and not actually watch the game.”
“We’ll be watching the game today, won’t we?” he asked with a smirk.
nodded enthusiastically. “I hope you’re prepared to hear me scream like a madwoman,” I said, smirking back at him.
“I look forward to it,” he replied, clearly amused.
The car came to a stop, and Alexander stepped out, circling around to open my door. I grabbed my bouquet from the seat, taking his hand as I stepped out. He glanced at the flowers, then at me, a curious look on his face.
“They’ll wilt if I leave them in the hot car,” I said, hugging the bouquet protectively.
Alexander chuckled, clearly entertained. He took my hand again and led me through the private entrance. The quiet of the long hallways was a stark contrast to the roar of the crowd just beyond the walls. It felt like we were in an entirely different world.
He scanned an ID card, and the door swung open, revealing his private box. The space was luxurious and insulated, muting most of the noise from the stadium. Beyond the glass, a balcony with plush seating overlooking the field.
Inside, there was a table piled high with snacks and a glass fronted cooler stocked with drinks. I stared at it, wide- eyed. “There’s every snack imaginable!”
“Help yourself,” Alexander said, smiling. “This way, we don’t have to go to the concession stands. If you want a hot meal, you can order it with that phone,” he pointed to a phone on the wall, and there’s a bathroom through that door,” he added, motioning toward the opposite side of the room.
“This has everything you could possibly need,” I said in awe. “I won’t have to miss a second of the game!”
I decided to take full advantage of the situation. With all the snacks and drinks at my disposal, there was no reason not to indulge. I loaded my arms with chips, candy, and a cold drink from the cooler, then settled into the seat beside Alexander. He glanced at my overflowing stash and laughed.
“Are you being serious?” he asked, an amused smirk tugging at his lips.
“You said to help myself, and so I have,” I replied, grinning from ear to ear. When Alexander had asked me on this date, I hadn’t known what to expect, but so far, I was having the time of my life..

Feeling like an overexcited child, I leaned forward, perching on the edge of my seat, my eyes glued to the field. The game hadn’t even started yet, but the excitement building inside me was impossible to contain.
“Your mother wasn’t joking when she said you loved sports,” Alexander said, amusement dancing in his eyes.
“My father and I used to go to games together all the time, I said with a fond smile. “It was one of my favorite things when I was little. He was always so busy–you know how it is, being an alpha and all. He did his best to make time for me whenever he could, but it was rare to have his attention fully focused on me instead of work. Sports became a way for us to connect.“.
Alexander’s expression softened for a moment before his grin returned. “You’re a real Daddy’s girl, aren’t you?”
I shrugged lightly. “Shouldn’t I be?”
“I suppose,” he said, teasingly. “He’s always giving you everything you want, right?”

“Oh?” Alexander raised an eyebrow, intrigued. “What’s one thing you wanted that he didn’t get for you?”
I couldn’t help but grin. “I want a souvenir hat!” I exclaimed, smiling brightly at him.
“You can have whatever you want today,” he replied, his tone teasing,
I chuckled, turning my attention back to the field. “I was only joking. But I do truly love sports, and I haven’t had a chance to attend a game in a long time. I really appreciate this you didn’t have to try so hard for a fake date.”
“Of course I did,” Alexander said, his voice light. “It has to be convincing. Besides, fake or not, I don’t want anyone getting the impression that I’m stingy with my lovers.”
I watched the screen suspended high above the field. The game hadn’t begun yet, so the camera operators were busy keeping the crowd entertained with their infamous kiss cam, panning across the audience and zooming in on happy couples, encouraging them to kiss while the entire arena erupted in applause.
Alexander took a sip of his champagne. “Are you really staring at that big television?” he said, nodding toward the screen. “Isn’t it better to look at the field-”
Just as he was about to finish his sentence, the image on the screen changed, and I saw myself staring excitedly out at the field. My eyes went wide, and I turned to Alexander, shock written across my
face.
“It’s the kiss cam,” he said, a teasing smile still playing on his lips. He leaned toward me, setting his champagne glass down. “I suppose we have no choice.” He cupped my cheek with his hand, pulling me in clos
Alexander’s lips pressed against mine gently. I froze, uncertain of how to react at first, the awareness that we were being watched by thousands of people lingering in the back of my mind. But as I closed my eyes, I instinctively leaned into the kiss, surrendering to the moment.
