One Last 100Chapter 100
Irene’s POV:
Days have gone by in a blur since Eva’s shocking announcement. I walked around the house, numb, like a ghost in my own home. I didn’t know what to feel anymore. Pain, anger, betrayal-they all tangled together in a knot inside me. Damien tried to talk to me several times, but I brushed him off. How could I even begin to talk about it, or process it? The woman who had tormented me for years, my own step-sister, was pregnant with my husband’s child. And it wasn’t just the betrayal that hurt -it was the feeling of defeat, of having everything ripped from me piece by piece.
But despite the stormy waves of emotions, I knew one thing for sure: if Eva was truly carrying Damien’s child, I was done. I couldn’t stay and live in the shadow of that truth. The idea of Eva having a permanent connection to Damien, the man I love, was unbearable,
I would walk away, no matter how much it broke me.
But I also couldn’t give up on the fact that Eva was a manipulative b*****h that could twist anything to go
with her story. I couldn’t give up on finding out if there was a tiny c***ck in her story, especially after that night when we confronted each other with Delores by my side.
Since that night I’ve been looking for different ways to get something on her but nothing, every try was futile. Not until George came to me.
It was one of those restless days where I found myself wandering the garden, looking for answers in the soft rustle of leaves and the distant chirp of birds. The sun’s rays shone through the branches, but it didn’t warm me. Nothing could warm me at this point.
I was lost in thought when I heard footsteps behind me. I turned and saw George walking toward me, a smug look on his face. Immediately, my guard went up. George was as twisted as Eva, if not worse. His loyalty to her was super tight, and I knew better than to trust him. But something in his expression was different this time.
“Irene,” he called out, his voice smooth and casual, like we were old friends catching up. I hated that.
“We need to talk.” He said, standing close to me.
“What do you want, George? I don’t have time for any games.” I straightened up, crossing my arms as I replied to him.
He smirked, his eyes gleaming with something sinister. “It’s about Eva.” At the mention of her name, my heart skipped a bit.
Of course, it has to be her. “What about her?” I asked as if I wasn’t affected by his statement. I couldn’t allow him to feel how desperate I was to get anything on Eva.
Someone as twisted as him would feed on that to demand something.
He stepped closer, lowering his voice like he was about to share a secret. “I have evidence,” he said lowly, savoring each word. “I have evidence that Eva is faking her pregnancy.” He smirked as he straightened back up.
For a moment, I was left dumbfounded. I couldn’t speak. The air seemed to thicken around me, and I felt my pulse quicken. Evidence? That was the one thing I had hoped for, a glimmer of proof that Eva’s latest move was nothing but a lie.
But could I believe George?
Could he be trying to trap me in more games? After all, he was Eva’s right-hand man.
“Why would you help me? You’re always on Eva’s side.” I questioned him, narrowing my eyes at him.

I didn’t trust him. Not for a second. But the seed of hope had already been planted, and it was growing faster than I could control.
If George had proof, if there was even the slightest chance that he was telling the truth then I had to know. This evidence could change everything. But I couldn’t show him how desperate I was, not yet.
“And what do you want in return?” I asked, my voice cold. I know someone like him would definitely want something in
return.

George’s smirk deepened, and the glimmer in his eyes turned darker. “I knew you were smart,” he said, stepping even closer, so close I could smell the faint scent of his cologne.
“I’ll give you the evidence you need, Irene. But there’s a price.” He said, tiptoeing around what he really wanted to say.
So I waited, already knowing I wasn’t going to like what would come out of his mouth.
“One night,” he said, his voice deep and smooth, “With me.”
“You’re disgusting.” I recoiled, my stomach churning in disgust.
He just chuckled as if it was nothing. “It’s a simple offer, really. One night with me, and you’ll have everything you need to expose Eva. Think about it, Irene. You could finally be free of her.” It was a chance to finally get rid of Eva from our lives, but my desperation wasn’t as bad as giving myself to a pervert like George.
I shook my head, taking a step back. “I’m not going to sleep with you, George. That’s never going to happen.” I told him boldly.
His face hardened, and the charm he wore slipped away, replaced by something darker, something more furious. “You’re. making a mistake,” he hissed, his voice suddenly cold. “I have the power to ruin her, to destroy everything she’s built. You can’t afford to say no.” He said as if he already thought I would have no choice but to accept.
Having nothing to say in return, I turned to walk away, but before I could move, he grabbed my arm, his grip tight and painful. “Let go of me,” I snapped, yanking my arm, but he didn’t budge. He only grabbed me even tighter, causing me to wince in pain.
“You think you’re better than me?” he snarled, his face inches from mine now. “You think you can just walk away? I could ruin you, too, Irene. One word from me, and Damien will never look at you the same way again.” He threatens like a desperate lost soul looking for who to destroy.
I felt a surge of panic rise in my chest as he tightened his grip, his eyes fiery with anger. I struggled against him, but he was too strong. “Get off me!” I shouted, shoving him as hard as I could, but all of that only seemed to fuel his rage.
Before I could scream again, George pushed me up against the garden wall, his breath hot and rancid in my ear. “You’ll regret this,” he hissed, his hand sliding down my arm, making my skin crawl.
He wanted to take advantage of me. He wanted to have his way with me. He was not over the incident in the kitchen that day. He was not over having me beneath him. And since I am not willing to give in to what he wants, then he was going to take it the hard way.
My eyes instantly welled with tears as I feared the worst happening to me.
But out of nowhere, I heard a voice that made my heart stop.
“Touch her one more time and meet your grave instantly!” The familiar voice cut through the tension, “You f***ng ba****d!”
