Chapter 18
Nola thought she should be responsible for this because she didn’t find a solution earlier. Nola’s mother rolled up her sleeves when she did the dishes, revealing the obvious welts on her arms. Glaring at the fat woman, Nola asked sternly. “My mother is a patient. How can you abuse a patient like this? You are not qualified doctors!”
“Who the hell are you? They can’t pay the medical bills, so they have to work. We are kind enough to offer them food. How dare you make trouble here?”
As the woman said, she was going to whip Nola and her mother. It was too late for Nola to dodge the whip. She could just cover her mother in her arms. But the pain didn’t come as she expected. As soon as Nola opened her eyes, she saw the woman scream with a pale face. The fat woman could not move.
Damion grabbed the woman’s wrist to stop her. The woman couldn’t move but still kept cursing
“You’ll pay the price if you dare to make trouble here.”
“It seems that there is someone powerful behind the hospital. Call the person here. I’m waiting.”
As soon as Elvis finished his words, a man in a suit strode over. He pushed his glasses up and greeted Elvis with a flattering smile, “Hello, Mr. Grayson. It’s my honor to have you here. The kitchen is dirty and messy. Please come with me to a better place. My employees might have offended you. Please don’t mind it.”
Elvis glanced at him and sneered, “Mr. Hill, you do pretty well in this hospital. Your employees said I would have to pay the price, and I’m waiting.”
Mr. Hill was scared to hear this. He asked with a pale face, “Who the hell said this? How dare you! You blind idiots even offended Mr. Grayson. Do you wanna be fired?”
“Oh, Mr. Hill. I finally know how arrogant you are. You ask my mother–in–law to do the dishes. Do you also want me to serve you as a servant?”
Mr. Hill was shocked to hear that. He knew what Elvis meant, but he didn’t know why Nola’s mother suddenly became Elvis‘ mother–in–law.
“Mr. Grayson, L.. I didn’t know that! I didn’t know Ms. Grant is your… It’s my fault. I was blind, and now I have to correct my mistake. Your mother–in–law will be moved to the best ward and use the best medicine. She’ll be treated by all the experts.”
“No, thanks. I don’t think I’m qualified to have all this. Damion, pay the medical bills and take my mother–in–law to another hospital.”
“Yes, sir.”
Elvis gave the order without hesitation. Soon, his men came to pick Nola’s mother up and carried the luggage. Mr. Hill tried his best to persuade Elvis, but it didn’t work at all. Nola watched them doing this quietly. She would remember Mr. Hill’s disgusting flattering smile.
That made a difference. Most people in the world were born to be snobbish.
Nola’s mother was frightened. She seemed to have been hungry for a long time. She fainted on the way to the new hospital. Then she was taken to the doctor at once.
Nola was worried about her mother. Elvis held her hand and comforted her, “I won’t let you suffer. She’ll be taken good care of by the best doctors introduced by one of my friends, a medical expert. Mom will be fine.
“Mr. Grayson.” Nola was surprised to hear Elvis call her mother mom.
“What’s wrong?”

Chapter 18
“You called my mother mom?
“You are my wife, and your mother is also my mother. Is there anything
“No” Nola shook her head, but the just couldn’t calm down for a long time
Nobody wanted to have a family member who had mental problems his had such a high status, soola had though Eivis would mind her mother’s mental problems, but he didn’t mind this at all.
Nola was touched by what Elvis did. She had never thought Elvis would respect her mother Now Elvis did so much to help her. He had never made a promise about it, but he did everything quietly
Nola swore she would remember all of Elvis kindness. What she could only do was to accompany Elvis as his wife urbe didn’t need her anymore.
Nola’s mother was just suffering from hypoglycemia. There was nothing serious except that the had some wounds on her body and was frightened. The doctor said there wouldn’t be any problem. As for future treatment, the doctor had to check her up first before making a medical plan
Nola stayed with her mother when Elvis went out of the room to answer a phone call.
It was the voice of a gossipy man on the phone. “What happened? I’m just curious about who you care about so much. Elvis. who is it? I also heard that you got married in secret.”
Elvis frowned and asked, “Do you call me for this question?”
“Or what? Unfortunately, I have a patient abroad, or I would take the latest flight back to see if it is true.”
“I’ll answer this question when all of us gather.”
“Great. Everyone will be back in just a few days. You must introduce her to us, bro,”
“Alright. Let’s talk about it later. Elvis hung up the phone mercilessly, although the man on the phone had just helped him Elvis looked at Nola in the ward and sighed.
“Damion, the hospital needs punishment. You have three days to do this task.”
“Mr. Grayson, you mean… Did Elvis want to avenge his wife? Before Damion finished his question, he met Elvis‘ cold eyes. which scared him.
“I don’t think I should teach you how to do the task.”
“Yes, sir.” Darion got what Elvis meant. Surprisingly, Elvis was protecting a woman. It seemed that he did like Nola As for Mr. Hill, he would suffer a lot.
After all, Mr. Hill had offended Elvis‘ wife. He just deserved this.
Nola didn’t know what Elvis was going to do. She stayed with her mother until night. Only then did she realize that she had wasted Elvis‘ whole afternoon.
“Thank you for what you did today” Nola couldn’t have solved so many problems without Elvis‘ help. She had never expected that the hospital dared to abuse the patients, and nobody had ever exposed it. Fortunately, her mother was fine, or she would never forgive herself.
“Show me your sincerity if you are grateful”
“What?” Sincerity? What did he mean?
“You should have dinner with me. Your husband is starving” As Elvis said this, the car turned around and headed to the
