Watching Nola walk proudly into the elevator, Tanya came back to her senses. Her face still hurt. She balled her hands into fists, shaking with anger.
Tanya had never been lectured like this before. Nola was getting bolder and bolder now that Nola dared to do this to her.
Fine! It was her fault. Tanya wanted to see if Elvis would do nothing when he found out about Nola’s true colors.
Looking at the materials scattered all over the floor, she was provoked by Nola’s design. She rubbed the design into a ball as if it was Nola in her hand.
If she had Nola’s talent, she wouldn’t have to do this at all.
God was unfair!
Nola was born into a complete family, used to enjoy happiness and warmth, and had such a good design talent.
But what about her?
She had no father from birth and was called a fatherless child by her peers. She hated the person who stole her father. When she learned of Nola’s existence, she vowed to take back everything that Nola had.
After entering the Grant family, she compared herself to Nola in everything. She behaved well and obediently in front of her father. Nola’s rebelliousness always made him angry. Gradually, she found out that her father didn’t like Nola so much.
After spending so much time becoming her father’s cherished daughter, she unexpectedly found out that her talent was not as good as Nola’s. She was angry and stubbornly chose the same major as her. Her father thought that all the excellent grades were hers.
But only Tanya knew that they were not hers.
Her mother told her that she could only be truly liked by her father if she married into a wealthy family. Knowing that Nola had been engaged, Tanya decided to steal Javion away. She worked so hard to get close to Javion’s mother. She acted as a gentle and simple girl in front of Javion and got his liking. It was hard for her to go all the way to this day.
But now she thought she was stealing something that Nola didn’t care about.
Why? She got everything that Nola originally had. But Nola still trumped her.
The more she thought about it, the more aggrieved she became. She decided that she couldn’t let Nola succeed.
If she couldn’t have it, then she had to destroy it. She won’t allow Nola to have a better life than she has. Nola didn’t deserve
it!
Nola didn’t think that much about it. Meeting Tanya affected her good mood. But she soon forgot about it. She was so relieved to have just taught Tanya a lesson. The two slaps made her hands tingle, and Tanya must not feel good.
She hated Tanya’s disgusting look. The design she worked so hard on was used by Tanya to negotiate a project. The punishment of two slaps was too light.
Fortunately, Tanya took all the abandoned drafts that Nola was not satisfied with. Otherwise, Nola would have punished Tanya severely.
Nola was not joking about what she had said earlier. Tanya and her mother owe Nola a lot. Now she was just trying to get some interest back!
When she got out of the elevator, her phone buzzed again. It was Mr. Grayson calling.

Changing her mood, she smiled and answered, “I am out of the elevator.”

“It took so long. I thought you ran away,” Elvis whispered, not caring that there was another person in the office. He trusted this person. Elvis wanted Justus to meet with Nola while they were all at the office.
Justus sat next to him on the couch, sipping his coffee, and he was curious. He had never seen Elvis speak to a woman in such a tone. He was curious about what kind of person this woman was.
Elvis and this woman had gotten a marriage license while he was away on business. It was too soon. Justus could accept that this was happening to someone else. But this person was Elvis, and he was confused.
What kind of woman had bewitched Elvis?
In the hallway, Damion saw Nola coming out of the elevator. He came out to receive her and took her to the office.
Everyone in the secretary’s office was dumbfounded. It seemed they had seen this woman somewhere before, and she looked familiar.
They couldn’t remember that Nola, who was dressed in a low–key and noble outfit, was the ordinary woman who had come to Elvis to talk about a big project.
The door to the office opened, and Elvis was already up. Nola smiled and walked in, but saw another person inside.
He looked like someone from the company, in a light blue suit. He was elegant and handsome. She didn’t know him and thought she was interrupting their conversation.
“Sorry! Am I disturbing you guys?”
“Come here!” Elvis waved at her. Nola felt that the gesture was like luring a pet. But she obeyed and walked over.
Elvis took her hand. “How did you do on the test?”
“I’m smart and resourceful. Of course, there was no problem. I even turned in my paper early.” She subconsciously blurted
out. But she realized that there was another one, and it was too late to withdraw her words.
The man next to her laughed. “Elvis, make an introduction?”
Nola looked at the gentleman next to her in surprise. Who was he? Could he be Elvis‘ brother?
But she looked carefully at the facial features and didn’t find any similarity between them.
“This is your sister–in–law, Nola,” Elvis said, and then introduced to Nola. “This is Justus, the vice president of the company. Nola, this is the person you were supposed to meet. But he was sent by me on a business trip and I went to meet you for
him.”
Nola understood. So this was Mr. Rivers, not one of the Grayson family, no wonder they didn’t look alike.
However, they looked close.
“Hello, Nola,” Justus got up and extended his hand to Nola, smiling. “I’m Justus! I grew up with Elvis.”
Nola understood and shook hands politely. They turned out to be good buddies who grew up together, no wonder Justus became vice president of Grayson Group.
“Justus, hello. I’m Nola.”
Just like the rumors, Justus was gentle and polite. The personality matched his face:
The three of them sat down before Elvis asked, “You finished the exam early. But why are you here now?”

“When I was coming up, I ran into a bedbug and solved it, so there was a delay. In Nola’s eyes, Tanya was the bedbug
The two men were a little confused. There were bedbugs in the company?
“Nola is so cute and funny. Elvis, your life won’t be so boring in the future.”
Was that a compliment? Nola accepted it.
“I worry that Elvis‘ life is too boring. There always has to be an energetic person with him to make his life interesting.” Justus nodded and smiled.
No wonder Elvis got a marriage license so soon. Nola was indeed a cute and witty person. She was very special.
They were chatting happily when Damion knocked on the door and came in. “Mr. Grayson, Ms. Tanya from Apex Group, claims to be your sister and wants to see you.”
