Nola was a little curious when Elvis suddenly said they were going to see his friends. She had seen Elvis domineering performance, and she didn’t know what kind of person could get along with him.
“You should have seen one of them. He is Godwin from the Burke family, and he came to see you in Breeze Garden lau time.”
“The Burke family?”
“His families are all doctors. He’s kind of inheriting his family business, and his medical skills are not bad
Although Nola didn’t care much about these things, she knew the Burke family was a medical family. According to Elvis words, she guessed the so–called outstanding young man with good medical skills might be Godwin.
“So when I had a cold last time, it was you…”
“I just give him a call.”
Nola secretly googled Godwin. The information on the Internet said he was an expert who was well–known abroad. Nola suddenly felt flattered to have Godwin come to treat her.
Godwin had such an achievement at a young age while Elvis only said his medical skill was not bad. Nola didn’t know what kind of person could gain Elvis‘ generous praise.
On the way, Elvis‘ phone rang.
“Do you want to answer it?” Nola saw the number on it which might be a cold call as Elvis didn’t save this number.
Elvis glanced at the phone and said, “Help me answer the phone!”
As soon as Nola answered the phone, she heard a man’s voice. “Why aren’t you here yet? Everyone is waiting for you. Don’t tell me you’re still on the bed?” Some people laughed on the phone.
Nola realized it was probably one of Elvis‘ friends.
“What’s the matter?”
A faint blush showed on Nola’s face. She turned on the speakerphone and let him speak.
“What’s up?”
“It wasn’t you?”
“No, Nola answered it for me. We’re almost there.” There was a pause on the other end of the phone. Spencer didn’t say… anything more and hung up the phone.
Elvis asked Nola what Spencer had just said. Nola coughed lightly and said, “He thought you were still on the bed.”
Elvis smiled lightly and sped up a bit.
Nola was really a shy girl!
The appointed place was a private winery on the outskirts of the city with a beautiful environment. If it didn’t put a sign outside, Nola would have thought it was someone’s private villa. Elvis drove in and parked in the garage. Looking at the car parked next to her, Nola almost thought she was at a luxury car show.
She remembered Elf also had other cars. There were all Range Rovers parked next to the Maybach.

This silver–gray Maybach which was in the middle of them looked a little conspicuous.
Nola was confused and didn’t know if it was a winery or an auto show center.

The winery’s main building had a classically British style surrounded by flower gardens and a fountain pool on the front.
When Nola and Elvis followed the steps and pushed the door in, they immediately became the focus of everyone.

Although it was a winery, Nola felt it more like a private residence. Some people were sitting on the sofa, and some were on the bar, holding glasses of wine.
There were wine racks on both sides of the living room with a variety of wines on them. Nola didn’t know much about these expensive wines. She just swept across them and wore a smile on her face.
The staff in the winery stepped forward to take Nola and Elvis‘ coats and hung them up. Then they handed over hot towels to clean their hands.
Godwin’s teasing voice came from the living room. “Look! This is Elvis‘ wife. Elvis called me in a hurry that day, and it really freaked me out?
Elvis glanced at him and said, “Do you have any problems with that? Or do you want to get hit?” There was laughter in the room. They were used to this way of communication and thought it was a kind of intimacy.
Nola was led by Elvis and walked over. Then they stopped in front of Elvis‘ friends.
Nola had seen Godwin before, so she looked at Justus and met his scrutinizing gaze. Nola remembered what he had said in the elevator that day. She just smiled calmly and didn’t care at that time. She thought Justus was just a friend of Elvis.
It seemed that they were close friends who grew up together.
As for another man, Nola knew he might be the person who was teasing her on the phone. After Elvis‘ introduction, Nola learned that his name was Spencer. Spencer was polite and well–dressed, completely updating Nola’s impression of the people in charge of the game company.
She thought that people who worked in game companies should be like Linda, carefree and straightforward, but Spencer gave her the image of an elegant pianist.
Spencer poured wine for Elvis. When he was about to fill up for Nola, Elvis stopped him.
“Nola can’t drink.”
So Nola could only watch them savoring the wine while she sat by the side and drank the juice.
Elvis didn’t want Nola to drink, so he found an excuse that she had to drive back later. Godwin said he could find a driver for them, but Elvis said, “I’m married now. I need to be economical from now on.”
Elvis‘ friends rolled their eyes when hearing this while Elvis didn’t care about it and pretended he didn’t see them.
Elvis didn’t want others to see Nola drunk as he was not sure what Nola would say when she was drunk again, so he needed to be more cautious.
“No. I don’t think your concern is about money. It’s because you’re afraid Nola will get drunk.” Elvis sat aside and didn’t
answer.
His silence said it all!
Godwin chuckled. “Nola, Elvis always picks on us. Now he finally found someone who could hold him down. Don’t be soft- hearted. I think you should set up your house rules and keep him in the line.”

Justus smiled and didn’t talk. None of them mentioned the one in the past
Elvis took a look and found that someone was missing, He asked, “Where’s Leon? I saw his car

Nola followed their gaze and saw a tall and sturdy figure appearing in front of her. Ahough Leon dressed casually it will couldn’t hide his innate imposing manner.
“Are you done with the military area affairs?”
“Not as busy as you!” Elvis and Leon were very happy to meet each other. Nola could tell Leon was from the way Coden said that Leon was a major general and only went home two or three times Leon was cally busy in the military area
“We haven’t seen each other for a few days. Can’t you be nice for a while? Elvis and Leon pounded their fists as a way of greeting
Nola finally saw what Elvis‘ world looked like.
