Although Aveline didn’t know who these people were, she knew one thing for sure.
The enemy of her enemy is her friend.
“For this child,” she replied.
“From what I know, you’re not the child’s biological mother nor the child’s nanny. Are you really willing to risk everything for someone else’s child?”
