Chapter 86
Chapter 86
The sudden sound seemed to frighten Fiona and Fiona almost knocked over the teacup. Nola caught it, seeing that Fiona was trembling as if she was overly frightened.
“Are you okay?”
Fiona shook her head. “I’m okay.”
“Do you just eat this?” Seeing her like that, Nola remembered that she was also like that when she first went to Apex Group for an internship. Everyone rejected her, and at that time, Nola was very sad.
Nola believed that Fiona was not very happy now!
“I’m used to it.”
Nola introduced herself. Seeing that Fiona was busy, Nola didn’t bother Fiona too much, and just left apples and coffee.
Nola was not an enthusiastic baby in the woods. Nola just thought that Fiona was very similar to her former self. She had experienced the feeling before. Seeing other people living like that now, Nola felt a little sorry.
Fiona looked at the apple next to her, and the steaming coffee. The heat warmed her heart.

Fiona took a sip. She had never had such a sweet coffee, put it down, didn’t say much, and continued to modify her file.
The office was quiet. Nola took a nap for a while and woke up after hearing the sound. It was the colleagues who came back. It took only half a day for Bertha to easily become Claire’s follower. Bertha smiled, but Nola didn’t care.
Nola was still doing her work. The design department had the president inspect that afternoon for the first time.
Before Mr. Grayson arrived, the whole office was getting excited. Although they knew that they had no chance of having anything to do with Mr. Grayson, they all hoped that it would be good to meet such a handsome man.
Normally, it was very difficult for them to see Mr. Grayson. The only ones who could see him were the high–level employees. Ordinary employees like them could only dream on.
With such an opportunity, it was inevitable that there would be constant restlessness in the office.
Deborah scolded twice. Everyone dared not make a sound, and when Elvis came over, everyone stood up in unison.
He only brought Damion and his secretary, and took a casual look.
There was a rare smile on Deborah’s face. Maybe it was Nola’s illusion, but Nola seemed to feel the gentleness in Deborah’s tone even from some distance away.
Nola couldn’t see Deborah’s expression. Elvis and Deborah had an ordinary greeting. That kind of conversation was more like meeting old friends.
“How are the newcomers?” Elvis said and looked at Nola. “Is it her?”
Nola wanted to give Elvis full marks for his acting.
“I can’t see anything now. After three months, whether to go or stay depends on their own abilities.”
“I trust your judgment.”
Nola looked down and didn’t look at Elvis, but heard footsteps getting closer. She looked up and saw Elvis walking towards her. Everyone looked at Elvis, with various guesses and possibilities flashing in their minds.

Chapter 86
Nola’s heart was almost jumping out of her throat and she worried Elvis would want to come over to say hello to her.
Nola couldn’t stand it. The hatred from her colleagues was too much. Nola worried that she would be targeted in the future by the company’s female employees.
Nola almost wanted to turn her head to avoid Elvis, but Elvis stopped and didn’t go forward. Only then did Nola breathe a sigh of relief. She always felt that Elvis was fooling her.
“Take her with you well. Designers always need something new.”
“I will, Mr. Grayson.”
Elvis didn’t talk to Nola, but his eyes fell on Nola from time to time. Nola’s heart was beating wildly, and Nola was thankful that she didn’t have a heart attack. Otherwise, Nola might have been scared to death by Elvis.
Deborah responded. Seeing Elvis leaving, Deborah looked back at Nola.
Deborah wondered if it was her own illusion just now, and why she felt that Elvis was looking in Nola’s direction.
Elvis had never been in the habit of inspecting departments, but that day Elvis became interested and visited every department, which made Deborah very puzzled.
But Deborah thought if Nola and Elvis had something to do with each other, how could Nola just work as an intern assistant in the company? Elvis could arrange for Nola any position Nola wanted, and why Nola had to work from the lowest level.
Thinking of that, Deborah dispelled her guess. Deborah thought Nola was also not the type that Elvis would like.
Nola didn’t understand why Deborah looked at her until when Nola went to the bathroom, Nola overheard another piece of gossip. Deborah majored in design and used to be Elvis‘ alumna.
Nola felt no wonder Deborah and Elvis looked so familiar.
“Mr. Grayson came to inspect, and Miss Garcia should be happy for several days. Those who want to ask for leave should hurry up and take advantage of this opportunity.”
Listening to their chatting and laughing, Nola seemed to hear something tricky. Miss Garcia seemed to have a story. As for what it was, Nola didn’t know.
It seemed that no matter where people could always hear many secrets in women’s restrooms.
Nola wanted to wait for them to finish talking before going out. Nola worried they would be embarrassed if they met, but she heard what they said next.
“Miss Garcia, was twenty–seven this year, right? She’s become an old woman, and she hasn’t found a boyfriend yet. Doesn’t she still miss Mr. Grayson?”
“I also think so! Mr. Grayson came to inspect today. Miss Garcia never showed her attentive appearance before us. It’s a pity that Mr. Grayson doesn’t like her.”
“How do you know that?”
“They are schoolfellow, having the same mentor. If Mr. Grayson had fallen in love with Miss Garcia, would Mr. Grayson have waited until now? I think Miss Garcia wants to wait. I’m afraid when Mr. Grayson got married, Miss Garcia would hide at home and cry sadly?”
Three women joked about other people’s private affairs. Even a company like Grayson Group couldn’t avoid that. That would be a huge drama when women gathered around to gossip.
“That’s right. Even if Mr. Grayson is a misfortune to his wife, he’s not a man anyone could dream about. I don’t know which

woman would be so lucky to have such a perfect man.”
Nola was complacent and thought it was useless for others to think about Elvis. She was the woman who was so lucky. However, Nola couldn’t tell them.
Nola didn’t come out until there was no more sound in the bathroom. She opened the door of the bathroom and walked
out.
Coincidentally, Nola bumped into Fiona, who was usually silent. Fiona smiled awkwardly, said nothing, walked around her, washed her hands hastily, and left.
Nola looked at Fiona leaving and shrugged. Nola knew Fiona was used to hearing those words. Fiona knew everything but didn’t say anything, and just concentrated on doing her own thing.
When Nola got off work, there were small snowflakes in the sky, and with complaints, colleagues left the company one after another. Nola delayed and saw that Fiona hadn’t got up yet. After hesitating for a moment, Nola left after seeing the umbrella next to her.
As soon as Nola entered the elevator, a voice stopped her. “Wait!”
