A cup of warm coffee diluted the unhappiness from the conflict just now. Fiona didn’t care about Deborah’s affairs. She was used to it, so she didn’t need to care about it at all.

Justus opened the invitation letter and smiled, “I thought you didn’t like to go to these occasions?”
“I want to take her this year.”
“Your mom’s birthday is in next month. You can bring her to attend the party. Oh, I see. You can’t wait to introduce her to everyone.”

Justus smiled, “As long as you are happy.”
His older sister had passed away several years. Justus was happy to see Elvis move on and start a new life. He sincerely wanted to see Elvis being happy again.
There were many banquets in upper–class circles. At the end of the year, there would be more. Elvis picked this opportunity to introduce Nola to others.
Elvis heard that Javion would also go. According to the rumor, Javion would make a big move next year. Elvis was curious. He wanted to meet Javion in person at the banquet.
Elvis didn’t care about the engagement between Nola and Javion. He knew it was made by their family. However, he got angry when he thought that Javion had chased Nola. He wouldn’t let this go quickly. He would take the chance to let Javion know that he should stay away from Nola.
“My mother mentioned you before. My sister came back. Did you know that?”
“Janie is back? She didn’t tell me.”
Elvis smiled, “The little girl probably wants to surprise you.” She was quiet since she came back. Maybe she was busy with something. Anyway, it was good that she didn’t bother him and Nola.
Justus was in a better mood since he heard the news. He got up, “I need to go. I will visit when I have time.”
He returned to the office in a good mood. Just as he pushed the door away, he saw Deborah sitting in his office. Justus put away his smile and regained his composure.
“Aren’t you busy today? Why are you here?”
“You have been in the neighboring city for the past few days. Have you heard about the thing that happened recently?” Justus frowned. He almost forgot Deborah’s existence. He knew she liked Elvis. But they had worked together all those years

and were still only colleagues. Justus didn’t think Elvis had feelings for her. Deborah should move on.
“Any questions?”
“You’ve known Nola and Elvis‘ relationship for a long time? So does Damion. But none of you told me anything about it and even let her work in my team. Have you ever thought of my feelings? I’m like a fool!”
“Why should I? In public, Elvis is the boss, and you are the design director. In private, you guys are, at most ordinary friends, right? That’s all. Besides, this had nothing to do with me. Why should I tell you about it?”
