Nola adopted an old–fashioned and unsophisticated style. But Deborah thought it was a shabby store on the streets. Nola didn’t know if it was a prejudice from a person who had studied abroad, or if Deborah disliked her and was making trouble for her.
Nola took out a plan that had been rejected before, and was about to speak. Unexpectedly, Fiona, who never spoke at the side, stood up cautiously.
“Actually, Miss Garcia… I think you can try Nola’s design. Maybe, it will give people a unique feeling.”
“Maybe? What if it becomes a shabby store? The boss of Dreams Bloom won’t favor this style,” retorted Deborah without hesitation. Later, she realized that Fiona, who had been silent about her opinions all the time, was now speaking for Nola.
What friends they were! Nola had given her some favors, and Fiona had indeed supported her.
“Fiona, how dare you!”
“Miss Garcia, I… I’m just telling the truth.” She clasped her hands tightly, obviously nervous, and pushed the glasses on her face from time to time. It was the first time she mustered up the courage to speak out about her opinion.

Nola spoke with reason. Although she was not an experienced designer, she could see through some basic matters.
Deborah always felt that her designs were impeccable because she was the design director of Grayson Group. But in Nola’s opinion, if a design plan was not favored and appreciated by others, it was an unqualified design.
“Nola, are you questioning my workability?”
“Of course not. I’m just discussing the design plans. Since this style doesn’t work, can we consider a different style?
