When Theo was mentioned, Fiona rolled her eyes without mercy, “One word, lecherous.”
“Is he very lecherous?”
“Yeah, I’m telling you, not just women, even a mother fly passing by him would catch his eye.”
Aveline found it even more strange. Could a person like this be the mastermind behind the scenes?
“Aveline, did this guy offend you?” riona asked, observing Aveline’s expression.
“It’s nothing, I was just asking casually.”
Fiona’s eyes darted around, “Thanks to you this time, we’ve secured another collaboration and successfully completed the sales task.
He’ll be coming over in a while.”
As she spoke, Fiona pointed to a man in a suit and tie at the corner, “Look, there he is.”
Aveline followed her gaze and saw Theo, arou
thirty–five, of medium build, with eyes shining with shrewdness like a mouse’s.
Their eyes met, and Theo appraised Aveline fro
head to toe.
“Oh, so this is the new talent who just completed a major project upon arrival. Truly impressive,” Theo reached out to pat Aveline’s
shoulder.
In a smooth motion to take advantage, Aveline calmly moved away before he touched her shoulder, and politely said, “Mr. Theo, you
-flatter me.”
She met Theo’s gaze, trying to discern something from his eyes.
There was no hint of evasion in his eyes, and his aggressive intent was very clear.
“You have a bright future ahead, Aveline!”
After saying a few more words, Theo left, even trying to invite Aveline to dinner after work.
As soon as he left, Fiona commented, “See, he’s just a big lecher. Aveline, you should stay away from him.”

Watching his departing figure, Aveline felt suspicious. If she hadn’t seen the photos he sent in Lilith’s chat records with her own eyes, she would have thought she was overthinking.
This person is very good at disguising himself.
“Fiona, can you help me with something?”

met her.”

“The little puppy on the cruise ship.”
If it was anything else, Alexander might not have much of an impression, but when this was mentioned, he remembered the incident that almost happened to Aveline that night. If it hadn’t turned out the way it did, he wouldn’t have let the guy off so easily.
Alexander rubbed his temples, “I remember that kid’s surname is Jameson, right?”
“Bryce Jameson.”
“What kind of waves can a little brat who hasn’t even grown up cause?” Alexander seemed unconcerned.
