Millie scowled and scoffed. “She sent a driver to deliver such nonsense? How amusing.”
Lucas shook his head. “She didn’t send me. This was my idea.”
Millie found the situation even more ridiculous. Her voice turned sharp with disdain. “Your idea? And who exactly do you think you are? What gives you the right to sit here and speak to me like an equal?”
With that, she signaled her bodyguards. “Send him away!”
SA mere driver dared to speak so boldly before her, demanding her full cooperation without question. The
sheer absurdity of it all was beyond belief.
The moment Millie realized that Lucas hadn’t been sent by Celine, her patience ran out. She saw no reason to waste another second on someone so insignificant and immediately signaled her bodyguards to remove him.
At her command, the two imposing men in tailored suits stepped forward, their expressions dark and unwelcoming as they prepared to escort Lucas out.
Yet, Lucas remained seated, his posture relaxed and unwavering, exuding an air of confidence.
“Millie?” He let out a dry laugh. “You’re not Millie. Your real name is Fannie Lloyd!”
Millie’s eyes widened in shock, her body tensing. “Wait!”
She fixed her gaze on him, her expression betraying a trace of unease.
Seeing her reaction, Lucas smirked and continued, “Your twin sister was the real Millie. You two looked so much alike that even your parents sometimes mixed you up. But here’s the real twist–she was the one who wanted to enter the entertainment industry.”
Millie’s entire demeanor shifted. Her composed mask shattered, replaced by pure disbelief and dread.
Lucas pressed on, his voice turning colder. “Everyone thinks you got your start in a singing competition, but the truth is, it was your sister who stood on that stage, not you. She worked hard to make a name for herself, never suspecting that you had something sinister planned.”
He leaned in slightly, his tone sharp as a blade. “You arranged a car accident that killed the real Millie. Then, without hesitation, you stepped into her life, stealing the future that was meant to be hers.”
From the start, Lucas had looked down on her. He had always known the darkness she hid beneath her glamorous image.
His unique position granted him access to classified information about powerful individuals–information he typically kept to himself unless given orders to act.
As his words cut through the air, Millie’s face turned deathly pale. The charm in her eyes faded, replaced by pure terror.
Lucas, unbothered by her growing fear, carried on. “After that, you used your looks and cunning to attach yourself to Nelson. With his influence and resources, you climbed to stardom, gaining nationwide fame.”
His expression darkened. “But it wasn’t just about money, was it? You did plenty of dirty work for him too.
1/2 Sean Fisher, Nelson’s old rival, was found dead in your bed. And then there’s Cubeforce Corporation-”

“Kill him! Now!” Millie’s desperate scream cut him off.
Her entire body trembled as she glared at him, horror and fury flashing across her face.
Those were her deepest, most guarded secrets–secrets she had buried so deep she never imagined they would see the light of day.
And yet, Lucas had just exposed them all, one by one.
Panic surged through her, quickly giving way to an overwhelming urge to silence him.
He had to die.
Her bodyguards hesitated for a brief moment before charging at Lucas, their eyes cold and merciless.
They weren’t ordinary fighters–they were seasoned warriors who had once served in the war zone. After retiring, Nelson had paid a hefty sum to secure their loyalty and assign them to Millie’s protection.
With a quick motion, the faint swish of fabric filled the air as their overwhelming presence bore down.
In the blink of an eye, they closed in on Lucas, launching their fists toward his head in perfect unison.
Their strikes cut through the air with force, the pressure alone hinting at the sheer strength behind them.
As she watched, a trace of ruthlessness flickered in Millie’s eyes, accompanied by a sense of relief.
She was well aware of her bodyguards‘ skills and didn’t doubt that Lucas was doomed.
He had learned far too much yet failed to keep his mouth shut. Worse, he dared to use that secret against her. This was the price he had to pay.
But just as she began to feel at ease, her body suddenly tensed, and the look on her face hardened.
