Reese gritted her teeth, her knuckles firmly shut with all her might and blood started oozing from her palms due to her nails digging in on them.
However, she still resolutely turned around and went back to the adjoining suite.
God knows how much she wanted to burst in there and tear apart this despicable pair of scumbags!
However, the last shred of her conscience told her she couldn’t do that!
She couldn’t act impulsively. She was still working as a designer at Clark’s Trifleming Jewelry.

The next morning, Reese woke up with pair of panda eyes. Her eye makeup and mascara from last night have smudged from all the crying that took place, leaving dark marks beneath her eyes.
She was in the room when she heard Clark and Alexa leave the room. She followed them shortly after.
Reese followed them all the way to the Civil Affairs Bureau in their area and coldly smiled as she got off the car, taking a photo of them entering the bureau hand in hand.
As soon as the two of them stepped into the Civil Affairs Bureau, Reese immediately called Clark.
“Clark, where are you?” She asked. As soon as the call was connected, she recorded the call.
“Ah…I, uh…there’s an urgent matter at my company, so I left early in the morning, and I didn’t have time to tell you!” Clark chuckled nervously, his voice a bit tense.
“Oh! Is that so? I thought you were sneaking around with another woman behind my back!” Reese spoke
with a sarcastic smile on her face.
Clark’s voice stiffened, and he forced a laugh. “How could that be! You’ve always been the one I love the most, Reese. By the way, I forgot to tell you, can you give that latest jewelry design to Alexa?”

“Didn’t Alexa just finish participating in the city–level jewelry competition? Why does she need another design?” Reese’s face remained expressionless as she spoke.
“Well, you see, Alexa will be participating in the Century Jewelry Competition held by Strakovski Jewelry the day after tomorrow. That’s the gateway to the world jewelry competition, and it’s crucial for her. She’s not satisfied with the designs she has, but she really likes your latest design. Can you…?” Clark
explained.
He was truly shameless!
After getting married to another woman, he still had the audacity to ask her for her designs. Truly, there was no one else like Clark Joseph!
Reese took a deep breath. Now was not the time to tear his face off, she talked to herself inside of her head repeatedly. “Well, I really like that design draft too. Very much! It’s my hard work, after all!” She calmly protested against his wish.
“Oh, Reese, how can you be so stingy? Alexa is at a crucial point in her career right now and she really needs our help. As for you, you have me. After we get married, you can be a full–time housewife. What do you need these empty titles for? The whole Trifleming Jewelry is yours!” Clark said.
Reese tried to maintain her composure with all her might before she responded. “Alright, I’ll do as you say. I’ll help her.”
After ending the call, Reese immediately sent the photo she took earlier to the media she was familiar
with.
The photo clearly captured Clark’s profile.
Everyone knew that Reese Roberts was Clark Joseph’s girlfriend. They have been together for two years, after all. Although the woman in the photo only showed her back, none of the features matched her.
She wanted to see how Clark would face the media’s questions!
