Aveline was already awake. The first second the light flickered in the dark night, she reached out and took the phone.
It was a message from Evan asking if she had slept.
Aveline quickly got out of bed, afraid of waking the child, went to the bathroom and directly dialed Evan’s number.
“Hello.” Evan’s mellow and gentle voice came from next to her ear, “Aren’t you sleeping yet?”
“Not yet, Mr. Blackwood. Is there any news?”
“Yeah, I have two updates. The first is that Mr. Kingsley and Mrs. Dorssey is meeting soon, and the second is the person that Miss Blackwood asked me to check.”
Aveline’s eyes lit up. She just wanted to give it a try, but she didn’t expect Evan to be so reliable.
“Who is it?”
“The Poisonous Worm members all use fake names, so it doesn’t make sense to say them. Her code name is Begonia, but I’ve determined her current location. Ms. Blackwood, do you want to meet her before she leaves?”
Evan’s whole words made Aveline’s whole body excited. “Can I?”
“I don’t know the grudge between you, but I think the best way to identify her is to confirm yourself. Of course, as a member of the Poisonous Worm, she is extremely dangerous. You must obey my orders to ensure your safety.”
“Okay.”
“I’ll send a car to pick you up now.”
Aveline hung up the phone, feeling ecstatic in her heart. God was kind to her. She had already reached a dead end, but she didn’t expect God to open a window for her again.

Aveline gave a simple explanation, but Evelyn could not stop her and had to let her leave.
The bodyguards outside wanted to rush over to stop her, but Aveline had already gotten into Evan’s
car.
She glanced at the cars that were catching up to her through the rearview mirror, and her eyes flashed with a serious look. “Mr. Blackwood, can you please get rid of these people?”
For some reason, she didn’t want Alexander to know that she was investigating this matter.
She only wanted to throw it to him on the day she came up with the results.
“Of course, sit tight.”

aura.
He sat calmly in the back seat, his eyes filled with killing intent.
The car suddenly picked up speed. Fortunately, there were not many cars on the street that night.
Aveline fastened her seat belt, her fingers tightly gripping the armrest.

Especially after a graceful turn, Aveline felt like half of her soul was thrown out.
When they successfully got rid of all the cars, Aveline found that her hand holding the armrest was already soaked with sweat.
Evan’s expression was naturally gentle as he said to Aveline, “Are you alright?”
Aveline, still in shock, replied, “Yeah, I am, but I am a little bit shaken.”

Seeing her pale face, Evan reached out and gently stroked her head, “Don’t be afraid, I’m here.”

“Sorry.” Evan withdrew his hand and said, “Miss Blackwood is about the same age as her sister at home, and I just treated you as a younger sister.”
