Reese’s face turned red in an instant. “Y–Yes, I know!” She stammered, completely surprised and
embarrassed.
She dared to marry Lukas Strakovski, so she was prepared for this.
Reese wasn’t a promiscuous woman, but she wasn’t overly conservative either. She believed in finding a balance that worked for her and marrying him was a part of that.
It was a decision she made to protect herself from impending disasters, even if it meant making certain
sacrifices.
Since she had taken on the identity of someone’s wife, she couldn’t expect everything to go smoothly. However, despite her readiness, she still hoped that this day could come a little later. After all, she and Lukas were strangers just a short while ago. The suddenness of it all had left her with mixed emotions.
