Clark and Alexa were happily chatting when they suddenly felt a strong aura among them.
Clark looked up and was surprised when he saw a man standing beside their table. Not just any man, but a big, prominent man in the jewelry industry. “Mr. Strakovski! What brings you here?” He asked in
astonishment.
He had only met Lukas twice before, and he never expected that Lukas would recognize him.
He quickly stood up, feeling unsure of where to put his hands and feet, “Mr. Strakovski, are you also here
for a meal?”
Reese was still a bit dazed. Lukas was here, after all.
Lukas glanced at Clark and then shifted his gaze to Alexa’s face, the corners of his lips curling slightly, “I’m here for this young lady!”
Alexa blushed and stood up. “Oh, Mr. Strakovski, do we know each other?”
“I feel like we are kindred spirits upon meeting! It’s quite fateful!” Lukas teased.
Alexa blushed even more, feeling nervous. “I… I also felt a connection with you, Mr. Strakovski.”
Lukas pondered for a moment and told his assistant, who was behind him, “Since we have such a connection, please order a cup of green tea for this young lady. My treat!”
Lukas’s words carried a deeper meaning, and he glanced meaningfully at Reese before looking back at Alexa. “We’ll meet again!”
After saying that, he turned around and left.
Reese suddenly understood the meaning behind the green tea.
If it weren’t for the inappropriate setting, she would have burst out laughing and snorting like a pig.
Unfortunately, the other two at the table seemed oblivious to the hidden intentions of this important
figure.
As soon as they sat down, Clark looked excitedly at Alexa. “Alexa, do you really not know Mr. Strakovski? I can tell that he treats you differently. If you can connect with him, we will have a bright future!” He chimed.

in me. Maybe he finds tny appearance appealing?” She sweetly asked.
Watching Alexa’s cute and shy appearance made Reese close and roll her eyes internally. She couldn’t bear to look at her sickening presence any longer.
Right after dinner, Reese received a message from Lukas.
[Lukas: Come and visit the hotel from yesterday!]
After reading the message, Reese excused herself and left the restaurant.
As soon as she got into the car, she took out her phone, which was connected to the mini pinhole camera
on her office desk.
She saw that at 6:30 in the morning, someone sneaked into the design department and stole the backup design draft she had locked in her desk drawer.
Reese couldn’t help but sneer. How she knew these two very well!
But if it weren’t for her being vigilant and observing, her plan wouldn’t have gone so smoothly!
When Reese arrived at the hotel, she was immediately engulfed in a hug by a man. Though a little surprised, she already knew who it was from.
Lukas leaned his forehead against her shoulder, his voice low, “You smell good.”
Reese blushed again and said, “Wait a moment, Mr.–…er…Lukas, I need to get something.”
Lukas lifted his head and looked at her, “What do you call me?”
Reese blushed even more, feeling a bit guilty, “Hubby!”
Lukas chuckled, “Hubby?”
Reese closed her eyes, her face red, but she mustered up the courage to say, “Hubby!”
Lukas’s lips curved slightly, “You said it well. Here’s a gift for you.”
He handed Reese a USB drive and then went to take a shower.
Staring at his back, Reese’s eyes flickered. She opened her bag, took out her notebook, and plugged in the
USB drive.
Then she saw the scene from the restaurant where she had dinner with Alexa and Clark. The camera captured Alexa and Clark entangling their legs under the table.

Reese burst into laughter. She finally understood why Lukas ordered a cup of green tea for Alexa!
After having a good laugh, she quickly opened the registration page for the Starlight Jewelry Competition and uploaded the design draft she had scanned in advance.
Both the Starlight Jewelry Competition and the Century Jewelry Competition hosted by Strakovski Jewelry would begin the evaluation process tomorrow.
The former might not be as famous as the latter, but both competitions had a completely transparent evaluation process.
And that was precisely what Reese was counting on!
