Tim and Ashley were shocked. Tim said quickly, “We’re working on new products; prototypes: should be ready next year.”
“Hmm.” Burke said coldly, “Don’t come see me until then.”
Ashley & Tim:“Yes…”
Burke:“Send me your observations tonight.” They understood he meant a technical summary of the exhibit
Ashley & Tim:“Yes…”
Tim said quickly, “Professor, one night… is difficult.” It was very difficult.“A month… is that okay?” He estimated it would take tens of thousands of words. One night was impossible. Burke said nothing, looking at them. Tim felt his gaze intensely. He shuddered, “Yes, sir! Guaranteed!”
