Sam saw Ashley with her suitcase. “Mom?”
“Mm,” Ashley replied, closing the door.“Mom has work. I’m going back. You and Dad have fun.”

She left.
Ethan woke up late and joined Chase and the others for lunch.“Chase, why don’t you go upstairs, and ask again?” He meant asking Ashley.
