Tanya and Yonnie hadn’t left. They’d assumed Tim’s absence was a pretext. They waited, hoping to talk to him. Instead, they encountered Ren Jifeng.
Two weeks had passed since Tanya’s injury; she was recovering but still looked pale, Ren Jifeng, having learned about her injury at XunDu, felt sympathy. But remembering she’d been injured saying Chase, he didn’t know what to say.
