Mark and Yonnie got out too. Recognizing Zark, they greeted him. He replied politely. After a Brief chat, Zark got a call. The expo was about to start; they left.
Ashley met Tim and the others. Tim whispered, “The professor will be there.” Ashley was stunned. Tim smiled, “It’s good you got help. If the professor knew you were late…”
She understood. He wouldn’t care about the reason for her lateness. He’d be angry she was late, especially considering her marriage after graduation. She shivered at the thought.
“It’s good you weren’t late.”
Ashley was relieved too.
