Chapter 32 My Girlfriend
“I’m used to it,” Emily said, “I’ve been living like this since I was little. I don’t think it’s hard.”
Jackson remained silent.
He drove slowly, occasionally glancing at her through the rearview mirror.
Emily’s impact on him was too shocking, and he still couldn’t quite react.
Is this really the same woman from that day?
When he took off her black–framed glasses, he could already see that she was actually quite attractive. But today she was wearing a
different outfit, and it was not just “good–looking” that could describe her anymore.
And he could tell, Emily wasn’t wearing makeup.

Finally, the car stopped at an upscale private club.

“Boss, you haven’t told me what kind of gathering it is today. Do you need me to design a makeup look for you?”
Jackson looked at her as if she was a fool, “With this face of mine, standing here is already perfect. Do I still need makeup?”
Emily couldn’t respond to that.
But her job was to do his makeup.
Seeing the people inside the club, Emily guessed that they were likely to bring female companions, so she asked, “Do I need to do makeup for your companion?”
Jackson held her hand and looped it around his arm, “Aren’t you my companion?”
Emily was confused, she pulled her hand back, “Sorry boss, I don’t quite understand what you mean.”
“Don’t be afraid, Jackson softened seeing her startled like a frightened rabbit, “Today is my brother’s company’s celebration. I need you to help me, pretend to be my girlfriend, and I’ll add an extra hundred thousand to your salary.”

Emily felt a bit deceived.
“Boss, I’m just a makeup artist, I’m afraid I can’t handle this job? If you’re willing, I’m sure there are many girls who would be willing to play this role.”
Jackson raised an eyebrow, “You’re not willing? Five hundred thousand.”
“I didn’t mean that…”
“One million.”
“Boss, please don’t do this. It’s not about the money. I just feel that deceiving others isn’t right…”
Jackson cut her off with a raised hand, “Enough, five million, I’ll pay now.”
Ding dong, her phone received a text message.
Yes, it was a message from the bank. Five million had already been transferred.
Jackson grabbed her hand and led her into the private room, “Alright, it’s settled.”
Jackson pushed open the door to the private room with a slap, leading her to stand in front of everyone.
Only now did Emily realize that this wasn’t a private room, but a hall
And the guests sitting inside were all familiar faces-
These were all big stars that you could only see on TV!!
“Brother!” Jackson called out to someone in the distance, holding her hand tightly, “I brought my girlfriend over.”
And the person he called brother was even more shocking to Emily.
…Allen Parker?!
Allen Parker looked much the same as in the photos online, equally mature and steady. He walked over and greeted her, “Hello, you must be Jackson’s girlfriend?”
The voice was really very similar to Mr. Satan’s!
But the way he looked at her was like a stranger.
Allen Parker was still waiting for her response.
Emily coughed awkwardly twice, “Yes, hello Mr. Parker, I’m Emily Carter. Just call me Emily.”
“Emily,” Allen Parker smiled politely, “Nice to meet you.”
Jackson raised his chin proudly, “So, what do you think of my girlfriend?”
Allen Parker chuckled, “Didn’t you say your girlfriend was just an ordinary girl with black–framed glasses? You’ve changed girlfriends
so quickly? Emily, although I’m Jackson’s brother, I have to remind you, Jackson changes girlfriends frequently, sometimes several in a month. You should think carefully if you want to be in a relationship with him.”
Jackson was unhappy, “Hey, stop it.”

“Isn’t it true?” Allen Parker rubbed his chin, chuckling, “There was Linda, Lucy, and Amanda, who else? I remember your
relationships never lasted more than three days.”
“That’s all in the past, why do you keep bringing it up?” Jackson was a bit frustrated, “I’ve changed.”
Allen Parker nodded with interest, “I hope Miss Carter can really change you.”
After listening for a while, Emily still didn’t quite understand. The difference in personalities between these two was so great, were they really brothers?
Jackson muttered, “Why do you keep staring at him? Besides being good at business, is he as handsome as me?”
Emily suddenly realized and quickly looked away.
She hadn’t even noticed, her gaze had been fixed on Allen Parker. She tried to find traces of similarity between him and Mr. Satan.
Their height, stature, speaking voice, power, and wealth were really quite similar.
But Mr. Satan had denied being Allen Parker himself.
Was there something he hadn’t dealt with yet, so he didn’t want to admit it?
At least so far, Allen Parker was the most similar person to Mr. Satan, without a doubt.
