Chapter 38 New Revelations
Emily didn’t understand what Olivia meant.
Olivia was impatient, tapping her foot. “Remember when you fainted at the hospital with your dad? Do you know who brought you
back?
Emily’s eyes lit up. “Mr. Satan!”
“Exactly!” Olivia smirked triumphantly. “When he went to the hospital, he couldn’t wear a mask, right? So, if we get hold of the hospital’s surveillance footage, we’ll see who took you, and the truth will come out,”
Olivia already had the surveillance video in hand.
Emily hesitated, but Olivia pulled her to sit beside her. “Let’s just which it first.
They opened a video link from the email, and the cover was the hospital’s s entrance.
Olivia maximized the video and pressed play.
Though the surveillance footage wasn’t crystal clear, they could still vaguely see the faces of people entering and exiting the hospital.
The area in front of the hospital was always bustling, even at night. Under the bright lights, people hurried in and out.
Suddenly, a familiar figure appeared on the footage.
He got out of a black car and entered the hospital.
“This is…” Olivia leaned in, then slapped her thigh. “Isn’t that Allen Parker? It’s really him!”
Emily felt nervous, biting her finger joint tightly, her eyes glued to the phone screen, not missing any detail.
About ten minutes later, Allen Parker’s figure reappeared on the surveillance.
He came out of the hospital carrying a woman, put her in the passenger seat of the car, and then drove off.
Because the lighting was dim, they couldn’t see the woman’s face clearly.”
But Emily recognized herself at a glance.
She was wearing the same white T–shirt and long skirt. Allen Parker personally dropped her off at the hospital entrance, and during that time, she had been by her father’s side and hadn’t changed her clothes.
Olivia gasped. “Emily, I think… the woman he’s holding really looks like you…”
She felt a weight lift off her chest.
So Mr. Satan really was Allen Parker.
Emily gave a firm nod. “It’s me.”
Olivia nodded and replayed the surveillance video several times. “Then it’s settled. Emily, maybe, like you said, Mr. Satan has his reasons for denying he’s Allen Parker?”

Emily felt confused. I don’t know, but he must have his reasons for doing so.
Is it because he’s gay?”
On this point, nobody had more authority than Emily herself.
Satan had mentioned several times about having a child with her and his obsession with her body, none of which were fake.
He was a straight man.
Olivia tilted her head, suddenly coming up with an idea. “Maybe he doesn’t want the girl he likes to know that he’s with you?”
So far, this was the only explanation that made sense.
Seeing Emily remain silent, Olivia comfortingly wrapped air arm around her shoulder. “Emily, don’t be afraid. Even if he’s Allen Parker, what difference does it make? Let me tell you, my gossip network is powerful. I’ll find out about Allen Parker’s past relationships, and the truth will come out.”
“No, thanks, Emily forced a smile. “I appreciate it, but I don’t really want to know who that girl is.”
As long as she didn’t know, she could continue to deceive herself that, whoever Allen Parker loved, at least Mr. Satan in room 2307 of the Hilton Hotel loved her.
Even though this love would eventually come to an end when the time came.
“Okay then,” Olivia said, “I won’t ask. Emily, I just want to see you happy.”
Emily laughed, “Seems like you’re the one who’s my boyfriend.”
Olivia chuckled, “If I were a man, I’d definitely marry you!”
After bidding goodbye to Olivia, Emily headed to the hospital.
Her father’s injuries were severe, and he wasn’t fully conscious. Occasionally, he would wake up, but could only express basic needs.
Mr. Satan was very considerate; he even provided two male nurses for her father. They were strong and could help her father move around in the ward.
When Emily arrived, she heard voices coming from the ward.
Pushing the door open, she saw that her uncle Bert had returned.
He looked exhausted, having just arrived from the airport, and was talking to the male nurses.
“Bert!” Emily’s eyes welled up with tears. “You’re back!”
Bert sighed when he saw Emily, “I’m sorry, Emily. I should have come back earlier.”
Bert worked out of town most of the time, so he rarely came home. He did so to earn more money and to fulfill Emily’s mother’s dying wish by finding Emily’s biological father.
Emily briefed him on her father’s condition, and Bert became angry. Sophia is as venomous as a snake. God will surely punish her.”
I hope my dad recovers soon.”

Bert said, “Emily, after all these years, I’ve finally found some information about your biological father,”
Emily bit her lip, listening intently.
“He was involved in business and landscape design in Europe. Recently, I met a businessman from Europe who said he knows someone who is a landscape design expert named Morgan. And his age matches that of your father.”
Similar profession, last name Morgan, and matching age.
Emily asked, “Bert, can you find out his full name?”
Bert nodded, “His full name is Logan Morgan. Your mom never wanted to tell me his name. I’m not entirely sure if it’s him.”
Emily thought for a moment, then sent a text message to Mr. Satan
Soon, his reply came: [I’ve arranged for someone to investigate this Logan Morgan. I’ll give you an update when I get home tonight.]
