“Let me remove the pieces,” he said and kept my leg on his hand, as he crunched down.
“No! You’ll hurt yourself!” I said.
“No, I’m trained,” he said. But I doubt it. He hurt himself twice.
As he was removing the last piece, I heard a chuckle,
Robert.
“Am I disturbing something?” he said. “Never thought you’ll have such an interest, Hailey,” he said.
“W–what?” I asked.
“Max,” he said. “Which CCTV was hacked?” he asked in a sarcastic tone.
“You lied?” I whispered to him. He heard it, I’m sure but didn’t reply.
He got up taking the last piece out too and faced Robert.
“Y–your room,” Max said.
“You know what I’m gonna do with you now” Robert threatened.
“Yeah I do,” Max said. “And I am not afraid”
“Oh sure, you’ll be” he smirked. “Ron,” he said slowly to his earplug.
Soon Ron came running towards the room.
“Boss?” he said.
“Take Max to the torture room. Now.”
“B–boss?” he asked wide–eyed to Robert.
“You don’t want me to repeat myself, do you?” Robert asked in a threatening voice.
“M–max?” Ron ignored Robert and looked at Max.
Max nodded his head slowly and hesitantly Ron came forward and took him with him.
“S–sir,” I said.
He left the room without another word.

As I got a little away from the room, Ron stopped abruptly.
“What the fuck is going on, man!” he yelled.

“He he is torturing that girl,” I said.

“I’ll support ya,” he said and then we started moving again. Soon I reached the torture room.
“Tie me,” I said to Ron.
“You know I will not,” he said.
“Come on!”
“Never,” he said and went out.
Soon Robert entered the room.
“Get up and go back,” he said.
Wait. He will not say or do anything?
“What?” I asked.
“You know I won’t hurt you, you’re like my brother and I respect you. But you don’t have to lie to me” he stood leaning on the wall.
“What’s her fault?” I asked.
“She cares!!” he yelled and stormed out of the room.

I went back to our room. There she was, sitting on the bed. She must be hurting because her fists were clutching the
bedsheet.
Maybe now she will never care.
And that’s what I exactly want.
She stood up when she realized my presence.

“Sit down” I ordered.
“Is Max ok?” she asked sitting down.

I got up with my almost–fine legs and changed into a dress suitable, and made my hairs.
I went down and there he was. He was looking handsome as always.
“We’re married, so,” he said. “I want you to be my wife, tonight,” he said and took my hand softly and led me to his
car.

He took my hand softly and we were now sitting in his car as the driver was driving fastly to the destination.
“Slowdown,” Robert said to the driver. Suddenly the speed that was what we can say of the tiger, changed to that of a
snail.
No hyperbole intended.
“Hailey,” he said. I was startled but looked at him. “We are happily married. You were my girlfriend for 3 years and you and I were not interested in showing our relationship publicly. Okay?”
I was not understanding anything. But wait. Okay, that’s what I have to say to the media? Okay, I don’t need any mediatic attention either that I would create a scene.
