Chapter 8
When I arrived, my daughter saw me and threw herself into my arms, crying.
Her hair was disheveled, and there were several obvious bloodstains on her face.
My daughter had never cried so sadly before: “Mom, Erik said among his classmates that I am a
thief, stealing his things and even his dad.”
When I hugged my daughter and intended to call the police.
Nyla came over with her son in a fierce manner.
She glanced at me and my daughter disdainfully and lazily said, “Children just play around, why cry
like this? Girls are just being melodramatic.”
“Moreover, my son did nothing wrong. Your daughter is the thief, and even you, as a mother, are
the same. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.”
I laughed and said loudly, “You dare to accuse others of being a mistress? Does Erik know that his mother is a despicable woman?”
I turned around and looked at the curious parents and children, pretending to be scared, and said, “You all must recognize this auntie, she specifically steals other people’s husbands and fathers.”
The children around immediately had a change in their eyes, their clear eyes looked at Erik, and they said crisply, “Why is your mother like this? This is immoral.”
“Yeah, yeah, why do you have to steal someone else’s dad? Is it because you don’t have one?” The children spoke without filter, and Erik’s face grew redder and redder.
I burst into tears with a loud cry.
Nyla angrily told me to shut up, “Only those who are not loved are the mistresses, what right do you
have to say that about me.”
Before I could even speak, other parents around me couldn’t bear to watch.
Everyone spoke out one after another: “You are so shameless, your brain must have been filled with water from playing internet memes.”
“What kind of person like you can raise a good child? You are hitting Lia now, who knows who you
will hit in the future.”
“I didn’t want my daughter to be in the same kindergarten as your son, it was too disgusting.”
‘Nyla’s body trembled, and she looked at me with jealousy.
Suddenly, he raised his hand and pounced towards me.

I grabbed hold of him and then slapped him back.
Nyla screamed in agony as she fell to the ground.
The applause erupted instantly around.
I looked down at Nyla and said slowly, “I have a record of all the money Joaquin spent on you. It belongs to both of us as marital property. I give you three days to return it to me, otherwise don’t blame me for doing something unpleasant.”
Nyla’s eyes were bloodshot, and she was unrepentant. “That money belongs to Joaquin, what’s it to you? You, a woman without any charm, can’t spend it and yet you’re jealous of me, I—”
She hadn’t finished speaking when she seemed to see a savior.
She ran towards me, crying.
I turned my head and saw that Joaquin had arrived.
I looked at him coldly as Joaquin furrowed his brows and pushed Nyla, who was sticking to him.
I picked up my daughter and examined the wound on her face.
The tears that the daughter had finally managed to stop, started flowing again.
Nyla looked at him with a face full of grievances and said, “Joaquin, look at my face, it got hit.”
Joaquin lifted his gaze and looked at her, his face showing a gloomy expression.
Nyla thought he was angry with her, wiping away her tears, she said, “Diana, this is too impulsive, just a joke between children—”
But before she could finish her sentence, Joaquin interrupted her.
“Watch your son closely, if he ever lays a hand on my daughter in the future, I won’t let him off so
easily.”
Nyla’s expression instantly froze, and her face was filled with disbelief.
The voice trembled and said, “Joaquin, what else are you saying? Isn’t this just a small matter?”
I was too lazy to watch them pull and tug, so I turned around and walked away, holding my daughter. I could hear hurried footsteps behind me, and Joaquin took Lia from my arms.
We went to the hospital together.
From that day on, Joaquin no longer paid any attention to any messages from Nyla.
He seemed to have completely changed and was determined to be a good husband and father.
And Nyla’s reputation was completely ruined.

It was unknown in the parents‘ group which righteous person spread her story online.
Although no names were mentioned, everyone around knew it was her.
Erik was also despised by his peers because of this.
Joaquin appeared indifferent to this, as if he really didn’t care about them anymore.
After his daughter’s injury had completely healed, he handed us three tickets.
