wiped away the tears on my face haphazardly and took a deep breath. 

“Then just abort the baby inside me.” 

“No.” 

In Theodore’s eyes, anger erupted instantly, and his voice turned as cold as ice. 

“I won’t let go of either you or the baby in Skyla’s belly.” 

Afraid that I would continue speaking, Theodore awkwardly fled from in front of me. 

The next day, there were more than ten bodyguards around our house, and he didn’t let me go out. 

He confiscated my phone, cutting off my contact with the outside world. 

I didn’t understand that he had already recognized Skyla’s child as his own. 

Why did he still insist on keeping this child that he didn’t value? 

I was trapped here by Theodore and spent three months in a stable period. 

The doorbell rang, and it was Skyla’s family with the movers. 

Madam Horne sneered at me as soon as she saw me, saying, “Some people really have thick skin, 

getting pregnant with an illegitimate child and still having the audacity to occupy Mrs. Tanner’s 

position!” 

“My silly daughter, how much hardship she endured for her Theo!” 

Sir Horne unconsciously coughed lightly, his eyes filled with disdain as he looked at me. 

“Alright, don’t worry about dirtying your eyes, quickly tidy up your daughter’s things.” 

A group of people at the entrance carried things, big and small, and went upstairs. 

When there were no outsiders in the living room, Skyla’s mouth curled into a mocking smile. 

So what if Theo married you, and so what if my child is not his biological child? 

“In his mind, you were still no match for me in anything.” 

I watched Skyla’s dazzling smile, and my arm swung past in an instant. 

I did my best, even sitting on top of her and striking from side to side. Skyla lay on the ground, ‘screaming in pain repeatedly. 

Finally, it was Theodore who was pushed back from outside and opened it.

Skyla cried loudly, which attracted Skyla’s parents upstairs. 

Madam Horne glared at me fiercely, demanding that Theodore kick me out. 

“With her here, I am not comfortable having Skyla stay in our house, Theo. If you don’t get rid of her, I will take Skyla back home.” 

“The Horne family could still afford to raise a child, while the Tanner family can just keep living with that illegitimate child.” 

Skyla glanced up slightly in Theodore’s arms and gave me a subtle smile. 

Theodore remained silent for a long time, just when Madam Horne thought her threat was effective. 

Theodore slowly let go of Skyla and walked over to stand beside me. 

“I couldn’t drive my wife away, so Auntie will take Skyla back home first.” 

At that moment, Skyla started crying again. 

Finally, Sir Horne intervened and smoothed things over, allowing Skyla to have a way to stay. 

My room, which used to be the best room in this villa, has now turned into a dark and cramped storage room downstairs. 

Theodore said that for the sake of the baby in Skyla’s belly, he could only inconvenience me for a 

while. 

“Don’t worry, Matilda. I will definitely change your room before you give birth.” 

Actually, I no longer care about where I used to live. 

A child who was not expected by everyone, I did not intend to give birth to. 

He suffered in this world. 

Having received Theodore’s instructions, Skyla lived in this house. 

But she no longer provoked me, and when we met, she acted as if I didn’t exist at all. 

I used to think every day about how to connect with people outside. 

‘Finally, my gaze fell upon Skyla. 

But she didn’t give me this opportunity.
