Chapter 3 

I angrily rushed over and knocked over the urn in her hand, saying, “Your own wife passed away, and you didn’t even show any concern. You even made sarcastic remarks. But when a turtle died, you made a big fuss and went all out to prepare for its afterlife.” 

“Ethan, you were truly disgusting!” 

Megan exclaimed in despair, “Ah! My turtle… my turtle! Lara, why are you so cruel!” I sneered, “Cruel? Your turtle died, it’s your karma! Damn both of you!” 

To my surprise, Odin came charging towards me, glaring angrily. “Bad woman, I won’t allow you to insult my uncle and aunt! Auntie even treats a little turtle as a family member, she is so kind. What gives you the right to insult her?” 

I gritted my teeth and said, “Shut up! You stupid thing! Alisa loved you so much, cared for you so much, and yet you, a two–faced scoundrel, dare to repay her kindness with betrayal.” 

“You, just like the blind–eyed Delacruz brothers, were ungrateful and beyond redemption!” 

Megan immediately said with sympathy, “Sister–in–law, how could you say such things about Odin? I know you all hate me, but love has no right or wrong!” 

She suddenly walked towards me, grabbing my arm and pleading, “I know you all resent me, but please spare me! The child in my belly is innocent, please stop here… I am willing to leave Shen Ge 

and never come back.” 

The alarm bells rang loudly in my heart, and I wanted to shake off her hand, but she suddenly fell backwards, as if I had pushed her hard. 

Ethan was shocked and quickly grabbed her from behind, shouting in fear, “Megan!” 

Noel became furious and he rushed over, grabbing my arm. 

I exclaimed excitedly, “Don’t touch me!” 

He saw me protecting the urn, angrily snatched the box away and said, “At this point, you still want 

to act!” 

I was shocked and horrified, and before I could stop him, I watched him ruthlessly throw the urn to 

the ground. 

The ashes fell to the ground, and I collapsed, shouting, “Noel, I’m going to kill you!” 

I knelt down to collect the ashes, but Odin rushed over and kicked the urn directly, knocking it over and scattering the ashes all over the place. 

I lost my mind and grabbed his neck, he looked at me in terror with a face full of hatred. 

Chapter 3

Noel grabbed my wrist tightly, and when I winced in pain and let go, he pulled me up from the ground. 

His dark eyes rolled with intense murderous intent, as if he wanted to devour me and be satisfied, “Lara, you dare to even hit our son, I think you’ve truly gone mad!” 

“Today, I will teach you a good lesson!” 

He dragged me to the adjacent memorial hall as he spoke. However, upon entering, he unexpectedly stood still for a moment, staring at the pitch–black and empty hall. 

He grabbed my shoulder, and my whole body twisted with anger, my arms were so painful that they felt like they were about to burst. 

Noel seemed to have decided that I was unforgivable. He pinned me down tightly on the ground, demanding justice for Megan. 

“Lara, I warned you for the last time, if you don’t apologize to Megan, we will get divorced!” 

The next second, Ethan walked in holding the pitiful Megan, his cold eyes looking down at me, and he spoke as if bestowing a favor. 

“Sister–in–law, no matter what wrong Alisa has done, she is still my wife, as long as you sincerely apologize to Megan…” 

I was so angry

The next second, I rushed to the altar and took off the covered photo angrily, then I confronted 

Ethan. 

“You should die, all of you should die!” 

I smashed the photo towards his head and said, “Didn’t you say I was deceiving you? Open your dog eyes wide and take a good look, whose memorial hall is this!” 

Ethan’s forehead bled profusely in an instant, and the photograph fell to the ground, revealing Alisa’s shattered face inside the blanket.
