Chapter 2
The banquet ended, and I stood by the window in the room, watching the guests leave.
Under the shade of a tree, Jaidyn stared at Lorena’s retreating figure for a long time before turning around and going upstairs.
As soon as he entered the master bedroom, he couldn’t wait to pick me up and throw me onto the bed, leaning down to shower me with a flurry of kisses.
“Lori… Can you say that you love me? I really, really love you, you are mine! You can only be mine!”
The fragments of past memories kept overlapping, and I finally realized that every time Jaidyn was most urgent with me, it was after seeing Lorena.
Did he just use me as a substitute for his sexual release?
I felt so sick that I wanted to vomit, and tears kept streaming down my face.
Jaidyn kissed a wetness and finally snapped out of the uncontrollable wildness.
“Darling, what’s wrong? Did I hurt you somewhere?”
He kissed me gently to comfort me, but I felt even more nauseous.
He pushed him away and vomited into the toilet again and again.
Jaidyn patted my back gently, looking extremely concerned.
“Darling, are you feeling better? Do you want me to call a doctor to come and check on you?”
I inwardly laughed bitterly, would I call a doctor and have him prescribe me a bunch of vitamins that don’t actually cure the illness?
“It’s okay, I was just feeling uncomfortable because I was on my period. Once I vomited, I felt
better.”
Jaidyn nodded and carried me to the bed, his big hands massaging my stomach to provide relief.
Suddenly, a phone call came to his mobile phone, it was Lorena.
Jaidyn’s eyes lit up, and he hurriedly walked out after finishing the call. “Lorena, that little girl, is having a stomachache. Her husband has been on a business trip recently, and she usually doesn’t take good care of herself. I’m going to see what’s going on.”
I had no intention of stopping him. After Jaidyn left, I opened the divorce agreement sent by the lawyer and quickly printed it out in the study.
On her Instagram, Lorena has also been reporting updates: “I mentioned that I had menstrual pain, and my little uncle specially came over to take care of me

In the photo, Jaidyn was busy in the kitchen, he was feeding Lorena and gently wiping her mouth.
Married for three years, I have never seen Jaidyn cook, even when I was seriously ill.
Another dynamic scene popped up: in the video, Jaidyn was helping Lorena rub a blood–stained
underwear.
Lorena wrapped her arms around his neck and playfully teased him, “Uncle, you’re so good to me. If I ever get divorced in the future, would you marry me?”
Jaidyn looked serious and said, “We are all grown–ups now, so stop talking nonsense!”
But I could clearly see how excited his hands were shaking when he heard Lorena’s words.
I closed my phone and signed my name on the divorce agreement.
