“Sorry, I need to take this call. Yvonne got up and stepped out of the room
Yvonne, I heard from someone downstairs that you’re at the hospital. Yaron’s voice came through the phone.
Yvonne replied nonchalantly. “What’s up?”
Yaron whispered, “Mrs. White woke up for a little while today. I was just for about ten minutes, but during that time, she kept mentioning you. She wanted to call you, but I stopped her. Given her condition, any excitement could be dangerous, so I had to prevent that
Sienna cared deeply about Yvonne. The first thing she did when she woke up was ask about Yvonne’s current situation. Even if Yvonne didn’t disclose the things Zachary and Ada did behind Sienna’s back, just hearing Yvonne’s voice would surely bring tears to her eyes. “Great. Yvonne hung up and headed towards Sienna’s room.
Sienna was still unconscious but clutched tightly onto a bracelet–the first thing Yvonne bought her with her own hard- earned money.
Yvonne gently held her frail hand, and it seemed like Sienna sensed her presence as her fingers twitched slightly.
Just then, the door was pushed open
Ada walked in, spotting Yvonne. She was taken aback at first and then exploded. “What are you doing here again? Who let you in? You really are persistent, like a stubborn sticker that won’t come off. Are you camping out here every day, waiting for Mrs. White to wake up so you can waltz back into the White family? Dream on!”
Zachary, seeing Yvonne, had a complex look in his eyes. I never expected her to be so cunning, constantly visiting the hospital when we aren’t around just to stay in Betrico. What’s the point? She’s not even part of the White family.
Ada said, “Zachary, she’s probably using our daughter’s name to freely enter and exit this room. Make sure to inform the nurse that she has no blood relation to our family. Our daughter is Muriel. If they see her again, don’t let her in.
Zachary also had the same thought. ‘How else did she enter? She must have told the nurse that she is Sienna’s granddaughter!
Seeing that Yvonne had no plans to leave yet, Ada couldn’t hold back and yelled, “What are you still doing here? Aren’t leaving? Should I escort you out?”
“The patient needs peace. Yvonne calmly stood up. She hadn’t planned on staying long since Sienna was about to wake up soon, and her presence would only worsen Sienna’s condition
Watching Yvonne leave, Ada grew angrier by the second. She had a bag with her when she went out today. Holding the bag. strap tightly, she swung it fiercely towards Yvonne’s back.
Before anyone could react, a hand swiftly pulled Yvonne out, and the bag didn’t hit her.
Seeing who it was, Ada and Zachary were both shocked. “Dr. Dawson?”

Marty nearly burst into laughter. Seriously? Mr. Sanchez is only 22 years old!

Upon hearing this, Matthew hurriedly said, “Christopher, go check on her.”
Christopher walked out of the ward and spotted a doctor not far away shielding Yvonne as if she was someone important to him.
“Isn’t that the doctor who helped Ms. Lynch with the surgery that day?” Marty’s eyes were sharp. He quickly recognized him. “I think he’s Charles‘ grandson. Yaron Dawson. What’s going on? Is Ms. Lynch in trouble? And Dr. Dawson seems to be protecting her.”
A strange, unfamiliar feeling surged through Christopher’s heart, making him feel displeased. He couldn’t quite identify it. It felt as if the precious person he should be protecting had been taken away by someone else.

“Dr. Dawson and Ms. Lynch both understand medicine and have common interests. What if Marty’s words were cut off as he saw Christopher striding in that direction. He mused, 1 thought you said you weren’t jealous.
“Never mind,” Yvonne decided not to waste any more time with them and was about to leave.
Yaron spoke up on her behalf, “You should really tell them that Mrs. White being alive today is all thanks to you!”
There’s nothing to say.”
Yvonne left first, and Yaron, feeling disgruntled, shot Zachary a glance before following suit.
“What did Dr. Dawson mean by that? Isn’t it the efforts of our family and the Khan family that have kept Sienna alive! What’s it got to do with Yvonne?” Ada questioned.
