Chapter 45
Allison asked, “The Fisher family adopting Lillian?”
Olivia shook her head, leaned in closer, and whispered, “Not just that. She even suggested to Rose that Joshua should marry Lillian someday.”
Allison’s eyes widened in shock at the revelation.
“Wow, that’s some juicy gossip!” Sabrina exclaimed, her voice rising with excitement. “She really had the nerve. to say that!”
Olivia replied, “I’m not sure what Rose told her afterward, but eventually, the nanny agreed to let the Fisher family adopt her daughter.”
Sabrina scoffed, “Well. Rose only has one son. No way she’d let him marry a nanny’s daughter.”
Olivia nodded in agreement, “Exactly. Joshua is the sole heir to the Fisher family. He could never marry a nanny’s daughter.”
Allison took a sip of her wine, lost in thought. The group continued their gossip, completely unaware of the girl glaring at them with malicious intent from nearby.
Allison sipped on her wine, its low alcohol content keeping her clear–headed. After chatting with her two friends for a bit, Allison stood up. “I’m heading to the restroom.”
In the hallway outside the restroom, Allison was stopped by two men.
One was a burly guy with a shaved head, wearing a black tank top that showed off his tattooed arms. He whistled and grinned sleazily, “Hey, gorgeous, wanna have some fun with us?”
Allison, in the middle of replying to a message on her phone, glanced up. Calmly, she switched to the recording app and started recording, then slipped her phone into her pocket.
The other guy, skinny with dyed blond hair, had a cigarette dangling from his lips. “You look pretty. Bet you’re
wild in bed.”
Allison retorted coldly, “Did you just eat something nasty in the restroom? Your breath sure smells.”
The blond–haired guy laughed sleazily, “What’s your rate for the night?”
The narrow hallway was blocked by the two men, leaving Allison with no way to pass. She stood her ground, arms crossed, and spoke with icy calm, “Funeral services start at five grand a night, extra two grand for mourning, basic cremation is four–nine–nine, add five hundred for a paper coffin, and if the bones aren’t crushed post–cremation that’s an additional twelve hundred for manual crushing. So, who in your family passed? Discounts for multiple deaths, over ten grand gets a thousand off.”
The blond–haired guy spat on the ground in rage, “You filthy bich!”
The tattooed man smirked and stepped forward, starting to unbuckle his belt. “Playing innocent? Bet you’ve been around. Quit acting. I’m taking you here and now!”
With that, he nodded at the blond–haired guy, “Let’s drag her to the men’s room and have some real fun.”
As they approached, Allison swiftly kicked the tattooed man hard in the groin with precision and force.
“Ahhh-”
The tattooed man screamed, clutching his groin in agony as he collapsed. His body curled up, convulsing in pain.
The blond–haired guy charged at Allison with a flurry of fists.
Allison grabbed his arm and twisted it sharply. With a “crack,” the blond–haired guy’s arm dislocated. The hallway echoed with their cries of pain.

Allison smirked, her eyes narrowing slightly. “Is that it? Not a single one of you can fight.”
She disdainfully pulled out a tissue to wipe her hands, “What a coincidence, I’m just a little adept at self–defense and haven’t had a good workout in a while. Perfect chance to practice on you guys.”
