Hidden Flame 83

Hidden Flame 83

**Tim**
I just received a text from Avery from an unknown number, at least I think it was Avery. She wants to meet at the mall
tomorrow. I know that I promised my cousin that I would tell him if I got a message from her, but I don’t want to. I will tell
him afterward and just say that it was spur of the moment. He has a kingdom to run that is usually quiet, but there’s
trouble brewing. We all sense it but him. He’s too obsessed with finding his mate to think about protecting Talos, so I will.
It is my home and protecting it is part of my birthright, one that I was robbed of because of a stupid war.
I also do not trust anyone from Naga. A tribe that has gone to these lengths to stay hidden, but yet welcome outsiders
can’t be trusted. They are hiding secrets and I will uncover them all. Starting with learning how Avery ended up there and
with the Trio. The Avery I knew was sweet, kind, humble, and fearful of the world. However, the one I have come to know
is some of those things, but so much more. My dragon also didn’t like the vibe he got from this most recent message.
Over the years that I have learned that I was a dragon, I have learned to trust him. I still don’t know why he stayed hidden
because he didn’t either. Perhaps we will never know.
**Avery**
My mates stalk toward me like hungry wolves circling in on a scared doe. Regina linked to me and asked if I wanted to
have a little fun and when I agreed, she told me to trust her. As my nude and very horny men were nearly upon me, I
leaped straight up. Regina’s wings sprouted from my back. Before they could fly up to reach us, she tucked her wings
and darted us straight towards the water. The guys were hot on our heels. At the last second, she unfurled her wings, and we glided across the surface while our mates got a little wet.
We giggled as they came up for air. Water might be one of their elements, but it appears that they have yet to unlock it. I wonder how we could go about it, because if my theory is true that we are that pentacle plus the one we have yet to find,
then we are all going to need to learn how to unlock our own magic. I know that my mates will not be swimming for
long, so I have Regina hurry us back to Ceto. Once aboard, she uses her fire to dry me off. Nice trick that I didn’t know we
could do. Regina puffs and tells me that she didn’t know it either, but it just felt right. I must agree with her because it
did.
The ring sparkled on my finger, and it gave me an idea. I grabbed some of the jasmine flowers and raced into the cabin.
There were many more rooms than I had anticipated. I found one that had a huge bed. It took up half of the spacious
room. It had to be at least two king-size beds made into one. I ran my hand over the comforter, and it was smoother than
the finest silk. I sprinkled my petals on the bed. I lay in wait.
**Clint**
How Avery flew took me by surprise. I am an excellent flier, but even I failed to pull up in time and hit the water hard.
Maybe her theory about the elements is correct. She is what links us all, because she can do everything we can, but who
is the missing piece? I am sure that we will find out. I just hope it is before anyone gets hurt or killed. If I had known how
toxic Lenore was, I could have ended her. But it was as if I was blind to the majority of her evilness. The witches aiding her
must be very strong. Draven is strong, but he lacks confidence in himself. However, these mysterious witches don’t.
My brothers and I watched Avery go back to the yacht. We followed her and noticed a trail of jasmine leading into the
cabin. So we are playing Hanzel and Gretel, it seems. I wonder if my little mate knows how that fairy tale really ended. I
chuckle to myself because I know how our version is going to end. Our dragons laugh with us as we follow her trail. She
picked the master suite that we had designed when we knew that she was all of our mates. This room and what we will
do in it will be a surprise for her as well as a first for all of us.
**Avery**
As I await my mates, my heart races and Regina paces on the bed next to me. She is in one of her smaller forms so she
isn’t much larger than a house cat. I do wonder how small a dragon can get. Perhaps one day we can discover our
limitations, but that won’t be today. Today, we need our mates. I fidget on the huge bed as I hear their footsteps grow
closer and closer. I want to be bold but I am still somewhat self-conscious. Regina senses it and muzzles me. As the door
opens, I spread my legs wide, and she curls into a ball. She licks her scales seductively as I allow my hands to roam my
body and my fingers to dip into my wetness. They watch as I stroke my pussy. Their dragons emerge and all stare at me
and Regina. However, they are not just staring at our show but at our Marks, especially The Mother’s Mark. Why are they
doing that? What is going on?
