I think Heidi has developed a soft spot for this guy. He is nothing but a pawn. I am thankful for the potion I got that puts
dragons to sleep because Tim has a dragon. I don’t know what tribe, but I don’t give a fuck. Avery obviously cares for him
and that’s all I need to know. She will come to meet him and whoever she brings with her will meet the same fate as her.
Tim here will make the perfect patsy too. Everyone will think that he infiltrated Naga and killed Avery. Then I can play the
savior and kill Tim and cry how I was too late to save Avery. I want Cassius and his brothers to suffer. I want them to be weak and useless while my girls and me are rewarded and get the ruling positions that we deserve not just in Naga but in
Talis too.
Great, the little fucker is awake. I have Lenore coat the dagger with the potion before I hand the rest of the vial to Heidi.
“Here, drug him again.” She took the vial from me and bent down to the guy. She had a single tear coming from her eye
as she whispered something to him. I grew impatient so I wrenched the vial from her and moved his gag. I replaced it
with the open end of the vial before Tim could scream, I forced it down his throat. I let his head fall to the ground before I
secured his gag. “Heidi, you are fucking useless!” She started mumbling something incoherent so I pushed her into place
before Lenore and I adjusted Tim’s positioning. A bit of blood was trickling down his face as we leaned him up against
the far back wall. When that door opened, his bound and lifeless body would be all that Avery saw. It will be the last thing
that she sees too!
**Lenore**
So far things are working out to plan just as she said that they would. All that’s left is Avery coming and her dying. If Clint
or one of his brothers show up with her, they will die too. My girls and I will help them grieve and then name them as our mates at our Grand Ceremony. If Clint is the one who comes, I will kill him myself and then take Draven. I know that
Jessica thinks that Draven wants her but I have seen how he looks at me when he thinks that I am not looking. He doesn’t
glance at me out of interest but out of lust. Avery needs to hurry up and come die because we have a prom to attend
where I am likely to be crowned Prom Queen. The question is who will be my Prom King? I hope it isn’t Conner. He’s so
pathetic and weak. Clint I am still furious at because there is no way that Avery is all of their mates. I think they are
pretending as a way of protecting her, but why?
They say that she has a dragon yet none of us have ever seen it. Could a witch be helping her too? But then that brings
me back to why. Why would anyone want to help poor pathetic Avery?
**Avery**
As Cassius and I were on our way to meet Tim, I kept rereading his text that I had Clint send a copy to my phone.
“Cassius, I don’t think Tim sent this.”
He looks over at me, “Did you have a vision?”
I sighed. “No, and I know that I have not texted him much, but it just doesn’t sound like him. The wording is off. I also
think it is weird that he wants to meet so close to our territory.” Cassius smiled at me which made me ask why. He said it
was because I referred to it as our territory. Maybe I am finally starting to see how I belong here, but I can’t help but feel
as if I might fit in somewhere else too.
My mind keeps drifting back to when I was at the orphanage. That green dragon with the silver eyes is permeating my
thoughts. Why did it claw my back when it could have killed me? Why did it drive those kids away? Most importantly why
did the Hags stop their torturing of me when they saw those marks on my back? That was before Regina awakened, so if
it wasn’t her dragon magic, why did they stop? We came to a stop and parked. “I don’t see another car. Are we too
early?”
Cassius tapped the clock on his dashboard, “No, in fact we are ten minutes late. Maybe someone dropped him off or he
took a taxi.”
We get out and I look around. I stopped at the front steps and dusted off a plaque. “Are you positive that this is the right
address?”

“549 Morgana Way, why?” he asks.
I point to the plaque, “This place has that address but it has been abandoned for at least a few decades.” I shiver, “Forest Haven asylum. I don’t like it here. I feel death. I want to leave.” I pull out my phone and text Tim that I can’t make it. However, something strange happens. We hear a phone chime from inside and another one ping with the words ‘Bow
before me’ in a familiar voice.
“That is Jessica’s notification ping she has for all noncontacts. What the fuck is she doing here?” he roars in a
combination of both his and Asher’s voice.
For some reason I glance overhead and even though it is starting to get dark, I can make out the silhouettes of three
large ravens. They seem oddly familiar. “These ravens should be roosting. Why are they out? None of this makes sense. No sign of Tim other than the phone chime, this creepy old asylum, you said that you heard Jessica’s notification tone,
three ravens circling, and not to mention I felt death when we pulled up. These are not good omens
