Avery**
I suddenly remembered Tim and that Cassius thought he had a dragon. If he does, that means that I can save him and his
dragon. I hand Cassius the Dragon Blades and rush to Tim’s side. He is barely breathing and his pulse is weak. Regina
lends me her talons and I use them to free him of his bindings. I lay him down on his back and kneeled beside him. I took
his face into my hands and breathed Regina’s flame, along with some of my life force, into his mouth. At first, nothing
happened. I start to cry and Regina leaps from my body to wrap herself around me. Soon my mates’ dragons joined us in
our grieving embrace.
Conner kneels across from us and motions for his brothers to join. “The potion is a liquid. Let’s remove it.”
“We will need to filter his blood too and boost his cell count to replenish all of the blood that will be lost because the
potion damaged it,” Cassius says.
I muster a slight laugh, “Nerd alert.” The Ravens aren’t helping but they also aren’t taking his soul. Is this some type of
test? “Okay, one more try but this time I need my mates and Regina needs hers. Each of us should focus on a different
part to heal, detoxify, or restore. Regina and I will focus on his dragon.” After struggling to sift through a dense fog and a
sea of memories, I found his dragon. However, I saw glowing silver eyes attached to a very familiar green dragon trying
to nudge him. It stopped the moment it saw me and Regina. It started at us before it bowed.
Since it submitted, Regina and I approached Tim’s dragon. I sat down on my heels as I placed the dragon’s head on my
lap. The green dragon with the silver eyes and scales trimmed in purple and ebony rested its huge head on the fallen
dragon’s back. My tears fell onto its head as Regina licked its face before she pressed her snout to his. When she
breathed her fire into it, the green dragon raised its head and blew a flame into the air. As the sparks rained down, the
fallen dragon opened his eyes. Regina and I hugged it tightly but when the green dragon tried to join in, we were forced
back to that room in the asylum.
Tim sat up beside his dragon blinking rapidly before both him and his dragon bowed down. “You are The Supreme Mother. You are his mate! Forgive us! Forgive us,” both he and his dragon kept repeating. Forgive them for what?
**Tim**
I don’t know how long my dragon and I were in the darkness. All we could feel was loneliness and endless damp
darkness. Then I felt this warm fire and tender touch. My dragon and I both reached toward it but became separated. I
could no longer see him but I could feel him and see through his eyes. We felt Typhon, my cousin’s dragon, approach us.
No doubt James tried to call and text me multiple times before he had Ty use his magic to locate me. I was too weak to
communicate to Ty what happened. He blew his flame both on me and over me, but nothing worked. If the King Of Kings
can’t save me, then nothing can. As I was willing to accept death, I began to feel my human body again. Through my
dragon’s link, I heard Ty gasp and I felt his soul reach out to a familiar energy. Then I caught her scent, Avery. Avery is
here with a dragon. Avery has a dragon! When my dragon opened his eyes, I saw Avery and the most beautiful dragon
that only The Goddess herself could create…The Supreme Mother!
I had thought that she was human and couldn’t be a mate to any dragon including my cousin. I was wrong. I was so wrong. What if me delaying my cousin his mate is why all of this happened? I should have helped him find her when he
smelled her on me that day that I met her in the mall. Instead, I hid how easily I could have arranged a meeting for all of
us. My dumbass wanted to protect the human girl who was my first love, only to discover that she wasn’t human and
didn’t need protecting at all. I need her and her dragon to forgive me and mine. Then I need to go back to Talos and beg
for my cousin’s and his dragon’s forgiveness and pray to the Goddess that he still wants me as a Beta and doesn’t kill me.

When I rose out of my bow, my dragon kept back into my body. Avery smiled, “This is Regina, my dragon. What do you
want to be forgiven for because I know that you didn’t help the Hoity Hags try to kill me and one of my mates?”
One of her mates? Never in history has a Supreme Mother had multiple mates since Tiamat herself. “Mates? No, your mate is back in Talos.” She grinned as she lowered the top of her dress. I saw The Trio’s marks and they opened their
shirts to show me Avery’s mark. As Avery was adjusting her dress, I saw an engagement ring gleam brightly. It carried
with it an ancient magic from an island I had only read about. “The Goddess didn’t just touch you. She made you!”
I fell to her feet. “Forgive, please forgive.”
Avery pulled me up into a hug as her dragon lept into her body. “There is nothing to forgive. I am Avery, just Avery, your
best friend,” she said. As we hugged I felt her dragon wrap me and my dragon in her embrace. She is truly amazing and
has a heart of gold. Sh
