Chapter 61
She tilted her head playfully, the unintentional teasing making it impossible for him to resist.
Brads of sweat formed on his forehead as he broke free from the restraints. Lia was so focused, she didn’t notice.
In the blink of an eye, their roles reversed. Lia’s hands were pinned above her head, her flushed cheeks adorned with a faint smile. “Mr. Ford, aren’t we playing anymore?”
Coby smirked, his fingers brushing aside her robe to reveal her glowing skin.
“My dear, let’s play another gante,” he murmured, his priority now being to serve his queen.
“Wha–ahhhh..” she screamed.
In the stillness of the night, even the moon seemed shy
Meanwhile, a crowd of men and women swayed wildly to the rhythm of the music on the dance floor of a bar.
A woman’s sensual movements pressed enticingly against the man beside her.
After two weeks of recovery, Frances’s injuries had completely healed. With the large sum of money she now had, she naturally wanted to indulge herself.
It had been ages since she last visited a bar, and tonight, she was determined to let loose. If she spotted a worthy prey, she would just go for him.
The man in front of her was young and handsome–just her type.
Frances kept throwing flirtatious glances at the man and added seductive dance moves. Unable to resist her allure, the man leaned in and asked, “Are you here alone?”
Frances p
gave a coy smile. She knew she was irresistible. Not all men were like Issac.
Just the thought of him sent shivers down her spine. That night was horrifying.
“Miss? Can you hear me?” The man, seeing her daze, impatiently grabbed her waist.
Snapping out of it, Frances playfully slapped his shoulder. “What are you doing? You bad boy!”
Emboldened by her lack of resistance, the man moved closer, testing the waters. Seeing her soften, he felt more confident.
Her ruby lips were tantalizingly close, and without a second thought, he pulled her into a kiss, indifferent to the stares of others.
Frances pretended to resist but ultimately reveled in the attention. She decided he would do.
After the song ended, the two left the dance floor, arms wrapped around each other intimately.
“You little sl’L. You’re so hot,” he said, pinching her cheek.
Frances glanced at him dismissively. “Think you can do it all night?”
She knew most men were the same–useless and weak. But as long as their needs aligned, it didn’t matter.
The man froze for a moment. A whole night? That sounded exhausting.
“What? Can’t handle it?” Frances looked at him with disdain. Another pretty face with no substance?
Chapter 61
“If you can’t, forget it. Her interest waned instantly.
In the past, her boyfriends–chosen for financial reasons were either ugly or incompetent. Now that she had money, the wouldn’t settle for men like that.
Despite her distaste for Issac, she had to admit that he outshone all her previous partners. From now on. Frances wanted at man who was both attractive and capable.
“I’ll show you what I’m made of soon enough!” the man said with a lecherous grin.
As they strolled through a dimly lit alley, flirting along the way, they failed to notice the footsteps behind them.
A sudden scream pierced the night. The man beside Frances was struck down, leaving him sprawled on the ground as a group of men surrounded them.
“Who… who are you?” Frances stammered, her eyes wide with fear as she looked at the threatening faces around her.
“Get lost!” The bald man barked, his loud voice terrifying the man, who scrambled to his feet and ran off without a second thought.
“Wait for me!” Frances tried to follow, but the bald man grabbed her back by her hair. “Where do you think you’re going?”
“Please, please, I didn’t do anything to you. Let me go!” She pleaded, tears streaming down her face as the pain from her scalp intensified.
The bald man was a hardened criminal and had no concept of pity. “Cry? Who told you to cry?”
He tugged her hair again, and the pain contorted her face. She dared not cry anymore.
Under the dim, yellow light, the bald man got a good look at her face and let out a perverse laugh.
“Boss, we hit the jackpot. This one’s a real catch” With that, the bald man dragged Frances to the short and stocky leader of the group.
“Please let me go.” Frances pleaded, realizing that the bald man wasn’t the true leader and switching her target.
The short, stout man grabbed her face roughly, nodding in approval. “Not bad at all.”
With money to gain and a woman as part of the deal, he saw no reason to turn down the offer.
“Please let me go. You must have the wrong person–I don’t know you.” Frances begged.
She was certain she didn’t know any of these men
“Wrong person? We’re here specifically for you, Frances,” he said,
How did they know her name? Fear consumed Frances. She couldn’t figure out what she’d done to provoke them.
“W–what do you want? I don’t want to die!” said Frances.
“Don’t want to die? Then make sure you satisfy us here. Maybe, just maybe, we’ll let you go.” The stout leader looked around at his gang, and they burst into lecherous laughter.
Frances’s stomach churned as she glanced at the grotesque faces surrounding her. She felt utterly sick.
“Please, I’m begging you–let me go.” She pleaded.
Secretly reaching for her phone, Frances was caught by the bald man, who snatched her bag and slapped her hard.
Chapter 61
“You try to outsmari merigly under my nose? I’ll make sure you regret it!” he said.
The slap left her bleeding at the corner of her mouth, her hair disheveled like a madwoman. The stout leader frowned slightly, a hint of regret crossing his face.
“Baldy, don’t ruin her. How are we supposed to enjoy ourselves she’s all beaten up the boss said.
“Understood, boss.” The bald man quickly apologized, bowing head.
“Take her away.” The stout leader commanded.
The bald man dragged Frances along, ignoring her resistance.
“If you so much as make a sound, I’ll deal with you right here.” The bald man threatened.
Terrified, Frances nodded frantically, tears streaming down her face as she stayed silent.
They exited the alley, and Frances was placed next to the stout leader.
Sensing an opportunity, she tried pleading with him. “Boss, please let me go. I swear I won’t say a word about this to anyone.”
Her disheveled clothing revealed enticing glimpses of her figure, and the leader couldn’t take his eyes off her.
Although he had many women, most were ones he’d paid for. Being short and stocky, his only appeal was his power, so women rarely came to him willingly
This woman, however, was exactly his type.
“That’s not happening. But if you please me well, I’ll make sure no one else touches you.” He leaned closer, his breath reeking, making Frances gag in disgust.
“No, please, I can’t do that.” She begged desperately.
Annoyed, the stout leader sneered. “Ungrateful woman. I was being nice, but if you don’t know what’s good for you, don’t. blame me for being rough.”
“I’m sorry! Please forgive me!” Frances sobbed, trembling as she pleaded.
Ignoring her, the leader ordered the gang to move her to an abandoned factory.
The place had been deserted for years, with almost no one around. Grinning wickedly, the men cracked their knuckles in anticipation.
“Boss, you go first,” the bald man said with a lecherous grin, his eyes growing increasingly vulgar.
“No, no! Please don’t!” Frances cried, retreating step by step, desperate to escape.
The men grabbed her and ripped her dress apart in seconds.
“No! Please! I’ll give you money!” she said.
“Money?” The gang erupted into mocking laughter, closing in on her.
“Boss, I’ll do it with you.” She sobbed, falling to her knees before the stout leader. Better him than the others
“See? That wasn’t so hard,” the leader said, his anger dissipating as he looked at her with growing i
“But boss, we were all supposed to have a turn… the bald man muttered, dissatisfied.
Chapter 61
The leader kicked him hard Who’s the boss here? What I say goes.”
“Y–yes, boss,” the bald man stammered, swallowing his resentment.
“Let’s go. Find a more private spot.” The short, chubby man grabbed Frances roughly, looking at her trembling body, slightly irritated, and then took off his clothes to cover her.
“If you don’t serve me well, I’ll send you back and let my brothers enjoy you,” he said.
Frances closed her eyes, forcing herself to nod. ‘Why did things turn out like this? Why?”
Morning came.
Lia woke up in Coby’s arms, realizing that he had already woken up.
“Good morning. She kissed his cheek first.
“Good morning, my Queen, Coby said cheerfully.
She smiled and pressed her lips together. “Let’s get up.”
“Okay.” He lifted the blanket, got out of bed naked, and Lia curled up, about to hide, but the man quickly picked her up.
I haven’t gotten dressed yet.” She shyly buried her face in his chest.
“Let’s go to the washroom, I’ll help you get dressed.” He had been wanting to help his wife with her clothes, but hadn’t had
the chance.
“Lia, are you cold?” he asked.
“No,” she replied.
He didn’t say anything else, his smile still bright on his face.
In the washroom, he gently set her down, watching her in the mirror, unable to resist hugging her from behind.
“Coby, the clothes. Lia knew he would do this.
“Be good, wait a little longer.” His voice was deep and hoarse.
Lia had no choice but to let him.
One month later…
After several rounds of negotiations, the Floral Island project was finally settled, and the Ford Group successfully acquired it.
Issac was struck as if by a thunderbolt upon hearing the result.
He couldn’t believe that after all the effort he put in, he still lost. Losing to Coby was something he couldn’t accept.
Lia waited anxiously outside the meeting room. Though their chances of winning were high, she was worried that Issac might play some dirty tricks.
Issac came out first and, upon seeing Lia, instinctively walked towards her.
“Lia. L…” he said.

Chapter 61-
Lia’s gaze stayed on the doo and when she saw Coby, she smiled lightly and walked toward the man. “Mr. Ford”
Issac’s face turned ashen, and he was on the verge of exploding.
Coby didn’t shy away, wrapping his arm around her waist, and whispered affectionately in her ear, “Honey, it’s time to make our relationship public.”
The Ford Group employees behind them were stunned. ‘Boss and Lia? What is he talking about?
Lia awkwardly tugged at the man’s sleeve. “Let’s talk later.”
Issac watched them with hatred, grinding his teeth. ‘Coby, I wont let you off.
“Mr. Allen, it’s time for us to leave.” Nate spoke up to remind him
“Bunch of idiots!” Issac shouted.
The employees of Allen Group dared not make a sound.
As soon as Lia got into the car, the man hugged her tightly. “Lia. He nuzzled her cheek, inhaling the fragrance from her body.
“Coby, congratulations.” Lia was also excited.
He gently brushed her nose, “Baby, do you know why I’m so happy?”
Lia wrapped her arms around his neck. She had promised she wouldn’t let him down.
“Coby, let’s go public. As soon as the words left her mouth, his kiss landed on her lips.
Coby had waited so long for this day.
At Ford Group’s celebration banquet, all senior executives were present, and even Bruce, Quinn, and Molly were there.
“Boss’s mother is so young and beautiful. Millie marveled.
Phoebe expressed envy. “She’s been taking such good care of herself, you can’t tell she’s aging at all”
“And Ms. Marsh is so cute.”
“No wonder Mr. Ford is so handsome, looks like the whole family has great genes.”
Lia listened to what Millie and Phoebe said, and agreed.
“By the way, where would everyone like to go for the company trip?” Phoebe asked.
“I want to go to Europe,” Millie said, thinking of traveling around
“I’d like to go to the beach. What about you, Lia?” asked Phoebe.
“The Maldives should be beautiful at this time of year. We’ll see when the time comes, majority rules,” said Lia.
Lia had been to the Maldives before, but tourism and work are different. She liked the idea of sitting quietly by the sea, clearing her mind, and enjoying a moment of peace.
“Now that you mention it, I want to go there too. It’s by the sea, so I vote for the Maldives.” Phoebe quickly decided.
Chapter 61
“If everyone wants to go there. I’ll go too,” Millie said. Traveling to Europe alone wouldn’t be much fun
“Isn’t it a bit early to be discussing this? It’s still over a month away Lia smiled.
“The sooner we decide, the better. To bad I don’t have a boyfriend. Lia, you can bring yours along?
“My boyfriend?” Lia looked over at the man talking with the executives. Just then, Coby glanced over toward her, and their eyes met across the room.
“Yeah, Lia, the company will cover the expenses. If I had a boyfriend, I’d take him too.” Millie encouraged.
“I’ll ask him when the time comes,” Lia wondered if he would go
“Oh, so we might get to meet Lia’s boyfriend!” Phoebe said excitelly.
“Yeah, I’m looking forward to it!” said Millie.
“Actually, you’ve already met him,” said Lia.
“Huh? Could it be someone from our company?” asked Phoebe.
“Lia, your secrecy skills are top–notch.” Millie was shocked.
“But they are spreading rumors about you and Mr. Ford again. I just defended you this morning,” Phoebe spoke up for Lia again.
I defended you too. Some people just can’t stop gossiping,” said Millie.
Lia and Coby had already agreed to go public, and she didn’t plan on hiding it from everyone anymore.
“Actually, he’s…” Before she could finish, Molly walked over and greeted them enthusiastically.
“Hi, everyone,” said Molly.
“Ms. Marsh.”
“Hello, Ms. Marsh.”
Millie and Phoebe both greeted her politely in unison.
“Lia, could we have a private chat?” Molly blinked her big eyes.
“Of course, Ms. Marsh.‘ Lia nodded to Phoebe and Millie, then followed Molly to the side.
Molly frowned and said, “Lia, it must be tough working under my brother. Every time she tried to talk to her, Lia was busy.
“Not at all.” Lia had adjusted to everything here.
Ford Group was more humane than most companies. They didn’t encourage overtime unless necessary and gave employees a lot of space. Plus, their benefits were some of the best in the industry. She genuinely thought it was great.
“Really?” Molly thought the reason she was so busy must be because of her brother, but she understood and didn’t ask more.
“Molly, how are things going with Dr. Walker?” asked Lia.
Mentioning him, Molly’s face fell. “Lia, I don’t know if what I’m doing is right.”
“Do you regret it? Lia knew a little about the situation, but not much.

Chapter 61
“I don’t know. I’ll just leave it for now. It’s almost time for my br her to speak,” said Molly.
Molly and Lia both turned their attention to the stage..
“Next, please welcome our General Manager, Mr. Ford, to speak Owen respectfully handed the microphone to Coby.
The room instantly fell silent,
“Thank you to everyone in the company for your hard work. This banquet has a personal reason behind it. I want to share something important with all of you.”
His gentle gaze swept over the crowd and met Lia’s eyes from across the room.
“Wow!” The crowd erupted in excitement,
