Blake’s mother once said that Myrna’s mother was more beautiful than some female stars in showbiz when she was young.
Blake was dismissive when he heard it because he hadn’t seen any photos.
But now, he believed it.

Myrna was casually talking on the phone.

“Where will you stay tonight? Do you want me to pick you up in Melcester?”
“Don’t bother. My family has come to pick me up.
“Are you really looking for your biological parents?”
With an indifferent look in her eyes, Myrna replied in a low voice, “You know, fallen leaves return to the roots. I need to know where come from and who I truly am.”

She hung up quickly. When Blake arrived, she had put her phone in her pocket.
Everyone liked beautiful things and people. Smiling, Blake stepped forward and took the initiative to greet Myrna, “You’re Myrna, right? I’m your cousin, Blake Payne. You can call me Blake.”
Myrna looked up at Blake. He was tall with a handsome face. His smiling eyes made him look innocuous and friendly. He had a strand of hair on his forehead dyed in bright purple, revealing his frivolity and playfulness against his noble demeanor.
Myrna seemed to have seen this face somewhere before.

“Yes. Nice to meet you. I’m Myrna Stark,” Myrna politely replied. Blake thought she was well- behaved.
“Grandpa has some trouble with walking and can’t take the plane, so he asked me to come and pick you up. He takes the bullet train and will arrive later. Your father and my parents have booked a private room at Watershed Restaurant. They may have been waiting there. Let’s go.”
Blake spoke with a smile and reached out, trying to take Myrna’s backpack.
“A friend of mine is in the car, and he’ll have dinner with us. Do you mind?”
