The so–called work uniform turned out to be a tailored suit from a renowned brand. After all, as the driver for the CEO, Laicas couldn’t be dressed too shabby.
Because it was custom–made to fit Lucas’s physique, the suit hugged his frame perfectly. With his athletic build, he was the epitome of a clothes hanger.
After this transformation, Stella couldn’t help but be captivated, her eyes sparkling as her heart pounded.
That day, Lucas had little to do, so he strolled around the company, chatting up any attractive women he encountered–it was nothing short of delightful
In the evening. Lucas drove a cold–faced Celine home.
At this moment, Celine had changed into a pair of black high heels, clearly still upset with Lucas.
That jerk is so shameless. He took away my stiletto!
Meanwhile, Lucas drove while stealing glances at the goddess through the rearview mirror.
Noticing Celine’s stern expression, who looked as if he owed her money, Lucas wisely kept quiet.
It’s best not to provoke a woman when she’s angry, especially someone as strong–willed and domineering as Celine.
Finally making it home in the midst of such a tense atmosphere, Lucas hadn’t even caught his breath when Celine coldly ordered, “Clean yourself up and change into something presentable. We’re going to my parents‘ place for dinner. My dad wants to meet you!”
“Oh? Free dinner?” Lucas exclaimed, his eyes lighting up with excitement.
As soon as he said this, Celine rolled her eyes.
What kind of oddball did she end
up
with?
It was her father who wanted to meet him, yet this guy was more focused on the food!
Slightly annoyed, Celine pursed her lips and gracefully turned to head upstairs.
Half an hour later, Lucas, already dressed in his outfit, sat on the couch waiting for Celine to come downstairs. He was playfully petting the large dog, Blacky.
“Women are so troublesome. They always take forever to get ready, wasting my time.”
Lucas scratched Blacky’s head and complained, “Don’t you think so, Blacky?”
Just then, a crisp voice rang out, making him jump.
“What did you say?”
Turning to the source of the voice, Lucas’s eyes lit up, and he couldn’t help but swallow hard.
She’s stunning!
Celine had changed into a purple evening gown that was both elegant and alluring.

The sparkling pearl drop earrings accentuated her beautiful face, making her look breathtaking.
Elegant! Sexy! Like a true goddess!
Though he had been feeling a bit frustrated from waiting, all of that vanished in an instant.
Such a gorgeous wife–waiting a whole day for her was absolutely worth it!
“What were you saying just now?”

At that moment, Celine’s expression was icy, her tone displeased as she pressed him again.
“N–nothing, hehe,” Lucas stammered, pulling his chin in sheepishly and offering an awkward smile.
She was too beautiful for him to muster any annoyance.
“Hmph! I told you to change into something presentable, and this is what you wear?”
Celine let out a cold huff, her annoyance evident as she questioned him.
Lucas was now dressed in a suit that had a slightly vintage style, the fabric hard to discern. On the left chest pocket, there was a badge–like pattern embroidered in golden thread.
But those details were not the most important, what drove Celine crazy was how wrinkled and rumpled the suit looked.
:
It was clear that it had been shoved into the box for an indefinite period before being taken out.
It had certainly been crammed in carelessly by someone, rather than being neatly folded and organized.
As Celine observed Lucas’s wrinkled, untidy outfit, she felt an urge to give him a makeover.
“What’s the matter? This is my best outfit! It took me a full 30 seconds to pick it out just to impress Dad!” Lucas replied, wearing a smug expression, completely oblivious to the situation as he turned around.
“So, what do you think? Handsome, right?”
Celine rolled her eyes and took a deep breath, silently reminding herself to stay calm. Stay calm! Or, this idiot will drive me crazy!
Dressed like that, he looked worse than if he had worn his work uniform.
Anyway, Rosalie had already seen his true colors last time, so she must have shared her thoughts with their father. There was no need to let him redeem himself in front of her dad.
Whatever, let’s just go.
Celine sneered and walked ahead toward the villa’s exit.
The Xaviers‘ estate was vast, featuring numerous villas, smaller buildings, and various structures that housed Celine’s family, along with the hired help–housekeepers, security, and gardeners.
As they approached the villa where Celine’s parents lived, Lucas took a step and wrapped his arm around Celine’s slender waist.
