Chapter 101
Chapter 101
Ever since the company knew Nola and Elvis were dating, everyone in the design department was cautious because Deborah might cause anybody trouble at any time.
However, Deborah would only do that to innocent people, not Nola.
Of course, Nola was the boss‘ girlfriend. No matter how angry Deborah was, she would leave Nola alone. Mr. Grayson would fire Deborah any time and kick her out of the company if she annoyed him or his girlfriend.
Deborah was gloomy all the time. Everyone was scared and stayed quiet. They even didn’t go to the tearoom frequently in case Deborah didn’t like it.
Nola was calm and busy with her affairs. She did everything Deborah asked her to do well. So Deborah didn’t have any excuses to seek her trouble.
Nola could handle the work well. Most of them were small things. She was capable of doing them. Deborah thought Nola was useless. Actually, she did a great job in designing..
The office door was slammed. Bertha cursed lowly. Nola looked at her. Bertha didn’t care and rolled her eyeballs.
“Why are you looking at me? You are the one in trouble.”
She sneered and pointed at the pile of documents next to Nola. If she didn’t deal with them quickly, she would have to work overtime at the company.
Those were Nola’s new work. As Deborah said, a newcomer should have a good understanding of the excellent design works of the department. Completing a design was not an easy task. Newcomers should be humble and learn from the great work first. Nola was not capable of design yet.
In fact, most of the so–called excellent designs were
work.
Deborah didn’t lie. Her design was great. Among all the works, hers were the best in the Grayson Group.
However, most of the styles of her work had been the same in the past few years. There was no creativity at all. After seeing some of them, Nola got bored.
Deborah’s designs were all based on luxury elements. Of course, this was conducive to creating a high–end and atmospheric brand. To put it more plainly, people could know the products were expensive at a glance.
But Nola had different opinions. She supposed that based on different products, they should have different styles.
Deborah seemed to have reached a bottleneck. All her work was the same. After reading most of them, Nola put the files aside.

In addition to villas and residential areas, the Grayson Group also provided design services to the guests of senior members. They could appoint specific designers to work for them, as well as commercial real estate and office buildings. There were all kinds of things. The most common ones were commercial real estate and large shopping malls.
Everyone was interested in the company’s design. The company charged higher if the customers were real estate contractors or luxury brands. Some brand counters had their specific requirements for decoration design, which could be
met.
Naturally, Deborah was in charge of big projects, while other designers were in charge of small ones. Generally speaking, the design department was bustling. But a new intern assistant like Nola could not make her design.
Nola was a little tired and wanted to get up and take a walk. Then, she saw a familiar face at the door.
It was Janie. She smiled and waved to Nola. Janie knew it was during working hours, so she didn’t come in and just waited

outside. She didn’t want to disturb the others work
Nola smiled and went out. She took Janie to the tearoom to have a cup of coffee.
“What are you doing here?”
“I came here to see if anyone bullied you.
“Oh, is that so?” Nola smiled and made her a cup of coffee, ‘I thought you came to visit some handsome guy specifically. Did you see any handsome guys?”
“No!” Janie said, blushing unexpectedly, “I have my certain handsome guy”
“Huh? I guessed it. Who is it?”
“I won’t tell you.” Janie raised her chin a little arrogantly, looking extremely cute.
“Did your brothers come, too?”
“They’re too lazy. They’re either in the gym or playing video games every day. I don’t want to stay with them. I’m bored, so I’ll come to visit you guys. By the way, I’ll ask my brother to treat me to lunch.”
“Sounds like a plan.” Nola nodded with a smile. The two chatted happily.
Deborah suddenly remembered something. She beckoned to Nola, and Nola approached. Janie lowered her voice and said, “My brother is too cruel. How could he let you over in Deborah’s apartment? Be careful. She is evil.”
Seeing Janie’s expression, Nola laughed.
In the past, Nola had admired Deborah. She took Miss Garcia in Grayson Group as her idol. So, when she first met Deborah in the office, she was excited.
But after she had watched Deborah’s work, she knew that Deborah was not that good.
“She is fine.”
“This is our company. An outsider must not bully you. You can tell my elder brother to fire her if she dares to make things difficult for you.”
“Am I so useless in your eyes?”
Janie laughed flatteringly, “Of course not. You are the strongest and toughest girl in my eyes. No one is superior to you.”
The two of them chatted very happily. Deborah, who didn’t know it, came out looking for Nola to print some materials. When she didn’t see Nola in her place, she lost her temper.
“Where is Nola? It’s working time. What is she doing? She is here to work, not to spend her daytime.” Everyone kept silent and didn’t dare to say a word. They didn’t want to make trouble for themselves.
Bertha said cautiously, “I think she went to the tearoom.”
Deborah rushed to the tearoom. Everyone got excited. They were going to watch a good show. Nola was too much. She didn’t work and even brought an outsider to the tearoom. Maybe Deborah would scold her in front of everyone. She might fire Nola immediately.
Everyone was curious about how things would develop. Claire sat in her office. Seeing everyone’s anticipation look, she smiled meaningfully.
It was truly a good show. However, the unlucky one would not be Nola.

The newcomer was capable. Even Mr. Grayson’s spoiled sister liked her a lot. Maybe, she would be Mrs. Greys vanday. W Claire were Deborah, she would not mess with Nola.
Poor Deborah! She was too stupid to see this through.
She was doomed,
Claire sighed. Deborah was not self–aware. She was coveting something that didn’t belong to her. Of course, Deborah you bad luck. Claire was afraid that she would be kicked out of the company soon.
