Nola, forgetting to refuse Elvis, let him carry her into her room. When seeing him do everything cautiously with many worries in his cold eyes, Nola was shocked and grief instantly rose in her mind.
She had told him not to treat her so well anymore. Why didn’t he remember it?

“Lie on the bed!” Elvis said. And then, he took out his phone and made a phone call immediately. Nola just ard he asked somebody to come here right now but didn’t know who it was.
It was very quiet in the room. He then stood up and brought the thermometer to take her temperature. Nola came to her senses, taking the thermometer to do it by herself.
She thought it was strange to be like this. He was not keeping himself apart from her now.
“102.2 degrees!” Elvis looked terrible when looking at the thermometer. He didn’t take good care of her, so she was ill now. He sighed and then went to the bathroom with a cold towel in his hand when coming back.
“I can do it.”
Elvis felt angrier when looking at her awkward expression. She was still getting angry with him since she was ill now.
“Nola, lie there. Isn’t 102.2 degrees serious, is it? What if you become a fool?”
Nola lied. The grief that she had endured these days suddenly rushed to her mind like a tide when hearing him shout at her. Perhaps because she was ill, she was so fragile that she couldn’t help herself and her eyes were full of tears.
“It’s better to be a fool. A fool is happier than me. They don’t have so much annoyance after all. I didn’t ask you to take care of me, and you told me to keep apart from you. Why do you take care of me? Mr. Grayson, what do you want from me?”
Nola shouted at him with tears falling down.
She didn’t want to cry, but he was here to take care of her. She couldn’t control herself not to be tempted. He shouldn’t be so close to her since he had told her to keep herself apart from him.
It was the first time that somebody shouted at Elvis, and it was a woman.
Her tears made his heart wrenched. He cared about her but what he did made her angry.
Elvis had never had such suffering. It seemed that he was stabbed in his heart. He sighed and sat beside Nola, raising his hand and trying to wipe the tears for her, but she stubbornly took it away.
How couldn’t she be angry? Even though she was a homeless dog or cat taken back by him, she would lose her temper.
She was not something at his beck and call. She had her own feeling and mood even if she was a humble girl.
Elvis had never comforted somebody so he lost his head when seeing her cry. He could only hug her and say nothing. He then patted her back softly, but his tenderness made Nola cry more badly!
“I’d rather you didn’t treat me well. At least, I wouldn’t have had any fantasies. Without fantasies, I wouldn’t have been sad! I’ve made up my mind, and I also remind myself all the time to keep myself apart from you. But you’re getting close to me. What do you want from me? Because of you, I’ve changed. It’s all your fault.”
Nola didn’t intend to reason with him but just put the blame upon Elvis.
Elvis frowned. Nola was crying badly and the tears were falling down on his shirt. He didn’t blame her even though he was a tidy person.

Elvis wondered why Nola didn’t talk sense when getting sad. Was she as moody as a cat? She might be the only one yelling at him.
But he had to admit sincerely, “Alright, it’s all my fault. Don’t be angry!”
Elvis apologized to her, but Nola cried more badly.
She wished Elvis could appear there in brilliance and protect her like the hero in the fairy tale when she face, he Grant family.
However, it was totally different from the tales. All were false in the fairy tale. He did appear, but he pulled a long face and was not tender at all.
Who said arrogant and indifferent prince charming was glamorous? She only preferred a tender man now.
“You’re not my prince charming. You’re not tender. I won’t have any fantasies, and I’m just fond of tender men. I won’t think of you anymore.”
“What did you say?” Nola continued crying. She even didn’t know what she had said. It seemed that she had told him the truth accidentally. She didn’t realize it, but Elvis was pleased when hearing it.
“I said I’m fond of other men. They are tender…” Before she finished, Elvis kissed her on her lips. The kiss was his pleasure and possession. Nola was tempted.
Elvis was reluctant to stop the kiss. Hr let go of her. Nola blushed and was panting lightly. She was too shy to look at Elvis. Things seemed to be out of control. There were still tears in her eyes. Elvis wiped away the tears and said clearly, “How dare you love other men?”
“Why not?” He even wanted to control whom she loved.
“Listen, Nola, you’re my wife. I don’t allow you to love other men. You can’t love any man other than me.”
Nola looked at him in astonishment. After a long while, she asked, “What… do you mean?”
“You’re allowed to love me. Understand?”
“I told you I love you?” Nola was afraid of being found out. Even though she was not assured, she couldn’t bitch out anyway.
“Who told me she won’t think of me with cry? Why don’t you call me since you miss me? Huh?” Elvis was about to denounce
her now.
“Mr. Grayson, you told me to keep myself apart from you. I remember it and I can’t break it.”
“Okay, listen, you can be close to me and love me. Love me only.”
Nola turned round and murmured, “You can be close to me. What do you take me for? I’m saving my face, Ok?” But Nola couldn’t help feeling happy when hearing what he had said.
Alright, Nola decided to lose her face this time. But it couldn’t be found out by Elvis.
“You’re my wife. As for saving your face, I’ve apologized to you, are you still angry with me?”
“You said it’s all your fault.” Nola was assured and bold to blame him with her chin raised arrogantly. She was a dignified cat.
“Yep! It’s my fault. I shouldn’t have vented on you.”
“I…” When mentioning it, Nola was about to make use of this chance to talk with him, but Alisa knocked on the door.
“Sir, Mr. Burke is here.” When hearing somebody was there, Nola immediately wiped her face. She didn’t want others to see
