Chapter 63
Elvis‘ friends thought he might be the latest among them to get married.
They accompanied each other along the way and knew what they had experienced. But they didn’t expect Elvis would get married without telling them.
When the news came out, no one believed it even if Godwin said he had seen Elvis‘ wife. Elvis‘ friends were very curious about Nola.
Godwin said bluntly, “Nola, come on. Tell us what you did to get Elvis in such a short time.”
Nola was stumped by Godwin’s question as she couldn’t muddle through it.
“You really want to know?” Nola smiled and asked Godwin. Godwin nodded and looked at Nola curiously. Others also wanted to know what was going on between Nola and Elvis.
Nola chuckled. She looked at Elvis and said simply, “Because of fate.”
Godwin was speechless about Nola’s words which didn’t actually answer his question.
They also knew Nola and Elvis wouldn’t get married if fate didn’t bring them together.
Elvis‘ friends were still single and unmarried. He suddenly got married without telling them. If they didn’t have strong hearts, they wouldn’t accept it so fast.
No matter how Godwin asked, Nola always evaded his question.
It would be better for her not to speak out that she asked Elvis to marry her, otherwise, it would be too embarrassing. Nola didn’t want to tell it because she wanted to maintain her image.
The gathering between friends was usually to chat about their recent situation. Elvis‘ friends wanted to see Nola this time and were satisfied after seeing her.
But when it was time to eat, Godwin looked a little grumpy.
“I think it’s better not to let Nola come when we hang out in the future.” Godwin ate the food in front of him helplessly, feeling it was tasteless.
“Did Nola get on your nerve?” Elvis said with a frown. Godwin’s eyes drooped as if he was abandoned by someone.
“Of course not! Nola is talented and beautiful. How could I be angry with her? I just can’t stand your public display of affection, okay?”
Everyone was stunned for a moment and suddenly laughed.
It was rare for them to see Elvis in such a good mood who would not care about Godwin’s words. As for Godwin, he was saying it on purpose.
“If you can’t stand it, you can also show it to us. But you need to have a wife first.”
Godwin’s face darkened. “You know my family is urging me to go on a blind date, and I am busy dealing with all kinds of girls every day. You must be making fun of me.”
“Isn’t that what you want? I’ve given you this chance. If you’re not satisfied with those girls, I can ask your father to find you
more.”
“Don’t! Sorry, I was wrong. Give me a break! You know those girls.” Godwin shrugged and stopped teasing Elvis.

Nola smiled. Although Elvis seemed to be bullying Godwin, she felt the relationship between them was very A
As for Leon, he was more like a good friend who was rarely contacted but would come forward immediacy it something, happened. Spencer was the type who kept this feeling in his heart and never expressed it in words.
Justus was the only one Nola couldn’t see through
Elvis told her that Justus once said she was a good girl.
Nola was very surprised and didn’t expect justus would make a positive comment about her. She thought Justus duliked her a little in his heart.
“Nola, look at me. Elvis always picks on me. But I’m not the worst one. The worst is Justus. He’s squeezed by vis every day and works very hard. He must be more miserable when we’re not around. See? That’s why Justus doesn’t talk too much?
Justus rolled his eyes at Godwin and stuffed a drumstick into his mouth. “Don’t listen to his nomene. Elvis is very good to me.”
Godwin put down the drumstick and said with annoyance, “Come on. Can you say something true for once? You can’t give in to Elvis just because you work under him. Justus, are we still good friends?”
“As your good friend, I remind you Elvis doesn’t mind accompanying you to exercise later if you continue to be mischievous.”
Justus would still participate in their interactions. Although he rarely did that, he didn’t alienate them at all,
Nola was envious that Elvis had such close friends. They grew up together and still had such a good relationship that wouldn’t be affected by other factors.
“Elvis got married without telling us. We can’t let him go easily,” Leon said. Others poured wine for Elvis as if they wanted to get him drunk today.
Nola was a little worried but didn’t stop them when she saw Elvis was happy. She just sent a message to Alisa and asked her to prepare the hangover soup.
Nola didn’t know how much Elvis drank. He quietly leaned on her shoulder and sat there with his eyes
closed.
“Is he really drunk?” Nola asked in a low voice. Elvis‘ friends said Elvis could hold his liquor before.
Except for Elvis, the rest of them were playing cards. This Saturday was spent in the winery. The hot tea didn’t seem to work for Elvis. He and Nola finally decided to leave first.
“Nola, I’m afraid you’re not familiar with the way, so I called a driver for you. Take care on the way!” Godwin helped Elvis into the car and said to Nola. The others also came out to see them off.
“Send us a message when you arrive,” Justus said to Nola before they left, and she responded with a smile.
“Don’t worry. I will take good care of him. Go have fun!”
The car drove directly to Breeze Garden. Nola didn’t know if Elvis drank too much or if he was so happy. He seemed to be wasted and fell asleep, leaning against her on the way.
Nola finally understood how Elvis felt when she was protected and leaned on him. This made her feel she was useful. At least she could take care of him.
Alisa hurried out to help. Elvis was already awake but still a little groggy.
“Let me help you to the room to sleep for a while! It’s only two o’clock.”

Elvis responded sullenly. He drank a lot today.
Nola helped him to lie down in the bedroom and took off his coat. The heater was on, for the will tagged with with When she was about to get up, Elvis held her hand.
“Where are you going?”
“Huh? I’m going downstairs to let you have some rest
“Stay with me for a while!” His voice was a little hoarse. He squinted at her and didn’t want her to go
It was rare for Nola to see him clingy, so she agreed. “Okay! Let me bring you some hangover soup before you fall dery
