Yoselin wanted to dodge, but the man’s eyes were fixed on her, “Don’t run! Let’s have some fun.” Her heart raced and her eyes turned red.
At the same time, another man appeared behind her, and he covered Yoselin’s mouth and nose with a handkerchief. The strong scent of diethyl ether overwhelmed her senses, and in the next moment, she lost consciousness.
The Starlight Stage, with its ancient charm, had its back door burst open as a man carried a sack into a van. Meanwhile, the stage’s opera continued, with Juliet’s voice once again ringing through the entire Starlight Stage, accompanied by the intense sound of musical instruments playing with urgency.
The van weaved through the bustling Tinwood Avenue, passed the towering Russell Group building, and headed straight towards Aurelith University. However, it stopped at the hotel across from the university. Once more, the van door swung open, and the man carried the sack into the underground storage.
When Yoselin came to again, she found herself tied to a chair, unable to break free. The man in front of her watched with amusement, and for some reason, she felt an odd familiarity about him. Once the cloth gag was pulled from her mouth, she coughed a couple of times and demanded, “Who are you people? Why did you capture me? Do you know who my brother is? Release me immediately!”
The man in front snorted, “Why is it that when the gag is removed, the first thing people always say is such pointless nonsense? You know there’s no chance of being released, yet you still waste your breath.”
Yoselin’s face went pale. The man looked gentle and suave, and his voice was soft and refined, but a horrific scar slashed across his left eye. This hideous scar invoked an unsettling feeling of familiarity and fear deep within her.
Yoselin couldn’t comprehend why–she was certain she’d never met him–but the terror gripped her. Trembling, she asked, “What do you want? I’m from the Russell family, and my brother is Yonas.”
“What’s the matter? Trying to scare me?” the man chuckled softly, “You think we didn’t check your background before we brought you here? We know everything about you.
“So what do you really want?” Yoselin’s mind was still dwelling on the message she received earlier from her grandfather, telling her to meet him at the stage. But when she got to the stage, he wasn’t there, and she was kidnapped. She thought, <Is it all a setup from the beginning? Who exactly is trying to trick me?>
The man didn’t answer her directly but instead gave a wicked grin, “Don’t you want to know the reason behind your mental issues?”
“What?” Yoselin’s heart skipped a beat.
Just then, two men burst through the door and threw a woman onto the floor. She was shivering and crying, looking around at the scene in terror. “Let me go! Please, let me go!” she sobbed.
But demons never understand pleas for mercy and are indifferent to your tears. The man showed immense excitement instead. He laughed loudly and gestured with his hand, and the man behind him handed over a dagger, which glinted with a chilling gleam.
Yoselin’s eyes widened. What were they planning to do? Why did she feel a shiver running through her entire body? This wasn’t just a simple kidnapping for ransom.
In Yoselin’s shocked gaze, the man stabbed the woman struggling on the ground with a dagger. Amidst the woman’s horrific screams, the men set up a fire on the ground. They squatted in front of the fire, rotating something to roast over it.
Yoselin’s mouth hung open in painful disbelief, her whole body starting to tremble. The woman’s screamed, but that group had no intention of letting her go.

Yoselin’s entire body convulsed. She wished she could pass out on the spot. The more she wanted to faint, the clearer her nerves became. Soon, her vision was consumed by patches of red, until no other color could be seen.
“Help! Help! Maniacs!” After an incoherent scream, Yoselin began to shriek madly.
The man looked at Yoselin’s reaction with satisfaction. He waved his hand, and the two men behind him dragged the woman, who was lying in a pool of blood, away, leaving only him and Yoselin in the room.

Yoselin had already lost her basic sanity, her eyes wide open as she screamed wildly. In just a few minutes, her voice became hoarse. She bit her own fingers hard, biting until they bled, leaving terrifying wounds.
He finally withdrew his sharp fangs, revealing a satisfied smile. He had once again perfectly fulfilled his employer’s instructions!
At the entrance of Aurelith University, Urena didn’t give up on her accusations against Yasmine. Even though she had cried so long she could cry no more, the media wasn’t planning to let this news go and continued to camp outside the university gates. Despite Yasmine being suspended and staying at home, they didn’t relent.
Just then, a van pulled up at the campus entrance, and a few cautious onlookers turned their eyes to it. A woman stepped out of the van and started screaming. “Ah!” Her heart–wrenching scream pierced everyone’s eardrums.
Before anyone could react, a reporter dashed forward, camera crew in tow. “Ms. Russell, what’s going on?”
Everyone was stunned for a second, but then rushed forward swiftly. “It’s Ms. Yoselin Russell from the Russell family!”
“Yoselin, who?”
“It’s actually Yoselin!”
Everyone swarmed towards Yoselin, as if a groundbreaking scoop awaited them. Each wanted the first scoop in their hands. Throughout it all, Yoselin could only scream in terror, her eyes wide with fear, offering screams as the only answer to all inquiries!
Urena finally sensed something was wrong and slowly approached, shielding Yoselin. “Stay back, everyone! This young lady seems to be having an episode, give her some space!” Urena shouted loudly.
The reporters, confused, stepped back to give her some space. After all, Yoselin was from the Russell family; not someone they could afford to cross.
She looked at Yoselin with a compassionate gaze, taking a moment before speaking. “I get it now, Ms. Russell must have been worsened by Yasmine! What a quack! Just yesterday, Ms. Russell was defending her, putting out such a long clarification statement and even filming a video. Who would have thought that today, things would take such a turn?”
Urena showed particular concern for Yoselin. The media reporters present thought it was because Urena had just lost her daughter, so she was especially attentive towards Teresa’s classmate, Yoselin.
As for her earlier accusations against Yasmine, everyone knew from the video that Yoselin’s therapist was Yasmine. It seemed like she was taking out her anger over her daughter’s situation on Yasmine. For a moment, the journalists there wore expressions like they were about to watch a drama unfold.
