Yasmine looked at Donna with a half–smile, “All I know is he accidentally tripped and knocked himself out. How can you accuse me of hitting him when you didn’t even see what happened?”

“You!” Donna’s face turned red with anger. “Oh, so you’re suggesting he tried to mess with you and then fainted when he failed?”
Yasmine nodded with a cheeky grin, “Exactly.”
Donna was about to argue more but then noticed someone hiding behind her. “Who is it? Come out!” she demanded.
As Yonas emerged, Donna felt a hitch in her breath. Of course, she recognized Mr. Yonas Russell.
“Mr. Russell, it’s really you,” Donna remarked.
“I’ve got things to take care of, so I’m off,” Yonas announced.
Mr. Russell, could you help my cousin Morgan get to the hospital?” Donna pleaded, her eyes locked on Yonas. Surely, he
uldn’t turn down such a beautiful face.
However, Yonas paid no attention and just turned away.
Yasmine smirked, “I suggest Miss Donna rush your cousin to the hospital.” She walked off, leaving Donna glaring after her.
At six in the evening, Yasmine returned to the Sanchez residence, just to find Donna blocking the entrance. “Yasmine, what have you done?” Donna accused, pointing and storming towards her.
“I don’t understand what you’re talking about,” Yasmine replied.
“What do you mean you don’t know? I just got my cousin to the hospital and the cops showed up and took him away. Are you seriously saying it wasn’t you?” Donna snapped.
Yasmine stared at her with a cold expression. “He was harassing me, so why shouldn’t I call the police?”
“But that’s Caleb, my cousin! How could you do this? You need to get him out of there!” Donna looked at her in disbelief.
“All I know is some creep bothered me at the theatre today. I have no idea about any cousin,” Yasmine said with an icy glance, then turned and walked inside.
“Don’t walk away. Yasmine, you need to tell me what’s going on.” Donna reached out angrily to grab Yasmine’s arm.
Smack! The sharp sound of the slap made Donna freeze. “Did you really just hit me?” she exclaimed, raising her own hand in response, ready to strike back.
Yasmine grabbed her arm. “What if I did hit you? You know exactly why Caleb is here and why he’s messing with me, don’t you?” Her dark eyes were sharp, filled with a cold intensity that sent a shiver down Donna’s spine.
“You! It was you, wasn’t it? How else would my dress suddenly rip? You planned this, you sneaky… trying to humiliate me!” Donna struggled, but Yasmine’s grip was unbreakable.
“Get away! Keep messing with me and I’ll make sure you end up in there with him.” Yasmine shoved Donna aside and walked inside, then coldly instructed the bodyguard, “Keep an eye on the entrance. Don’t let any stragglers come in.”
“Yasmine! You witch! Who are you calling a stray? Get out here right now!” Donna yelled angrily, gripping the iron gate. “Yasmine! Come out here!“.

The bustling Emerald Woods District in Soucrity was filled with a variety of shops and a maze of narrow alleys, Yasmine in the car weaving through the crowd, wondering why Aunt Ivette had been acting so strangely lately. Irene’s issue was still unresolved, and now Donna was somehow involved.
“Stop here,” Morgan instructed. The car smoothly came to a halt in front of a quaint shop that seemed to be straight out of the 1990s.
Morgan had a custom gown arranged for her, having discussed the details with the designer. Initially, she wasn’t interested, but with an important task at the upcoming charity auction, she needed the perfect gown.
The owner sent over several gowns with an attendant, and Yasmine looked through them before selecting one to try on. The fitting room was small, its windows covered with thick curtains. Gowns all seemed similar until you actually tried them on to see the fit.
Removing the many layers was so tedious that Yasmine broke a sweat just taking them off. She had barely slipped into her new dress and was still tying the sash when someone suddenly flung open the curtain.
Startled, Yasmine let out a gasp, “Who?!” She clutched her chest, stepped back quickly, and grabbed the door handle.
“Don’t move,” came a voice.
Yasmine turned around cautiously to see a man behind her, a dagger pointed directly at her.
“Who are you?” Yasmine’s heart began to race.
Outside the fitting room, a sales attendant called out, “Ms. Sanchez? Are you alright?” He’d heard Yasmine’s earlier shout
Yasmine quickly replied, “I’m fine, just accidentally bumped my arm.”
The man tucked away his dågger, pulled the curtain back in place, and said coolly, “I’ll be leaving soon.”
Footsteps grew louder as about a dozen people burst into the private custom shop, shouting arrogantly, “Start searching?”
Yasmine and the man held their breath. The fitting room was dead silent. Footsteps grew louder and closer, making her a bit
anxious.
“Get up, we’re searching the place,” yelled the group.
“Get out of here! The lady inside is changing. What do you think you’re doing?” snapped the store security who rushed over.
The man was persistent, “There’s a thief in the area. If they slipped into this store and something happened to a customer, could you take responsibility?” he argued.
Yasmine glanced at the man, then quickly added, “Don’t let him in. If it were a thief, I’d have screamed. Try coming in, and I’ll call the cops.”
It seems the store owner and security managed to convince them, and soon everything calmed down.
“You can go now,” Yasmine said firmly, eyeing the masked man whose aura was full of mystery.
“Alright,” the man replied, looking pale as he walked to the window. He turned back, giving Yasmine a curious glance, “Thanks.”
