He could feel Julia’s affection for him. 

“Alright,” he said without making any further moves, and instead took her hand to lead her downstairs. 

At the rooftop entrance, a few servants had witnessed the scene and quickly retreated to call Lucia.

In her room, Julia took a quick shower and lay in bed, trying to appear nonchalant as she scrolled through messages on her phone.

Julia snapped back to reality and instinctively reached to wipe her mouth, only to find nothing there. 

“Harry!” she exclaimed, her face burning with anger. 

“Yes?” Harry replied calmly. 

Julia’s cheeks were as red as an apple. She vowed she wasn’t usually shy, but in front of Harry, especially after understanding his feelings, she couldn’t help but feel bashful. 

“I’m tired. I’m going to sleep now.” She said nothing more, turning away and curling up like a shrimp with her eyes closed. Harry chuckled softly. “Is it so hard to admit that you like me?” 

He lay down beside Julia, keeping his distance, not hugging her or making any overt moves. He closed his eyes and drifted into sleep. 

Julia, however, couldn’t fall asleep. She turned back around and stared at Harry’s sleeping face. 

He looked so handsome, softer than usual, his usual cold demeanor replaced by a gentle expression. She found herself wanting to trace the contours of his face with her fingers. 

Unable to resist, she reached out, but just before her fingers touched his skin, she pulled them back. 

‘Wake up, Julia. Until you’re sure Harry loves only you with all his heart, you can’t let yourself fall deeper, she warned herself
