The light inside the cabinet was dim, and Aveline was trembling with fear. If she had known it would be this scary, she would never have come in the first place.
Seeing her shivering violently, a familiar low chuckle suddenly came from the pitch–black cabinet.
Why did Aveline feel like this laughter sounded so much like a person she knew?
Just then, he turned on a prop light, and the eerie green light fell on that pale face. Aveline was about to scream when the familiar voice spoke, “It’s me.”

“Yeah.” The man, who was usually serious, spoke with a hint of amusement in his voice.
“Sorry for meeting you in this way. I didn’t know you were so easily scared.” In fact, he had not intention of scaring Aveline. He had dressed up like this just to evade the bodyguards.
