The reality that she and Alexander had to face.
Alexander had decided to completely give up on her.
However, she had also made her own decision. Aveline smiled gently at Jordan and said, “I’m sorry, please tell your CEO that I regret it.”

After the snow, the temperature remained low as usual. The bright sunshine melted the snow on the treetops, dripping down the branches.
When Aveline arrived, Alexander was already waiting there.

Neither of them continued speaking. Time seemed to go back to the past, when she would relieve his exhaustion with her understanding.
After massaging for a while, her hands became sore. Her body functions were not as good as before after chemotherapy, and she couldn’t lift her hands anymore, so she put them down.
Alexander took out something from his briefcase and pushed it towards Aveline, “I have revised the divorce agreement. If you have no objections, please sign it.”
Aveline glanced at it. The divorce agreement she had drafted before only had one clause, million in compensation.

She chuckled lightly, “Mr. Sterling is really generous.”
Alexander didn’t look at her, but lowered his head to look at his watch, “You deserve it.”
She didn’t know what he had been thinking that night, but it was clear that he intended to completely separate himself from her.
