Several followers laughed along when they heard this.
Frustrated, Cassia wanted to confront them, but Greta quickly held her back.
She looked at Luella with a calm expression on her face, her voice sounding indifferent.
“The money, Kayson voluntarily wanted to give it to me, just like those widely spread rumors about you, it was legitimate and true.”
After saying that, she didn’t care about Luella’s expression and dragged Cassia away.
Luella, who was pained by the poke, became furious and pushed the passing waiter forward.
The soup, which was being poured with hot oil, got spilled, and just as it was about to splash onto Greta and Cassia, Kayson appeared.
He shielded two girls behind him, and the sizzling soup soaked his entire left hand.
The exposed skin was instantly covered with numerous blisters from the scorching heat, and his complexion turned a shade paler in an instant.
Luella never expected him to show up here, and for a moment, she panicked and hurriedly approached to check on his injuries.
Kayson forcibly suppressed the burning pain, gritting his teeth as he looked at her, his gaze colder
than ice and snow.
“For the sake of Mr. White and Mrs. White, I did not argue with you about the things you did. But if you continue to be stubborn, I don’t mind teaching you a lesson.”
Luella still had to explain that Kayson didn’t give her a chance at all and left with the two frightened
people.
As the cold wind blew in the night, Greta also became more awake. She looked at the wound on his arm and directly took the car keys from his pocket.
We hurriedly arrived at the hospital, and the nurse was shocked to see such a large wound. She quickly called for the doctor.
It was getting late, and Cassia had to go to work the next day. Greta tried to persuade her for a long time before finally convincing her to go back.

doctor.
When she came back, the wound had already been treated.
The doctor gave them many instructions and then allowed them to leave.
Greta drove the car and took Kayson home.
Returning to the villa once again, she looked at the living room layout that was almost identical to before, and a hint of confusion flashed in her eyes.
The old butler saw her return and instantly greeted her with a smile, incessantly muttering.
“Madam, you have finally returned. During your absence, the gentleman has been waiting for you.”
Halfway through the conversation, the butler, upon seeing the injured Kayson, stood frozen in
place.
“Sir, how did you get injured?”
Greta pretended not to hear what the butler said, handed over the medicine in her hand, reiterated the doctor’s instructions, and turned around to leave.
Watching her gradually disappearing figure, Kayson felt a void in his heart.
He really wanted to ask her to stay, but when the words reached his lips, he stopped himself.
The butler couldn’t help but get frustrated as he saw Kayson’s hesitant and dejected expression, if he wanted to say something but held back.
