Chapter 7
The truth was revealed, and Fiona found herself at a loss for words. She could only cry and plead, “Leroy, I, I had my reasons. The fortune teller I consulted said that I could only have a son if I ate those… I needed a son to secure my position. I really had no other choice.”
“That’s enough! Your mind is filled with your status, your position as the chairman’s wife, but have you ever thought about Bryanna?! Why did you tell her that I was the one who gave you the child? Wasn’t it just to force her to leave me and make me wholeheartedly become your lapdog?!!
“You didn’t want a son, and you wanted to become the chairman’s wife, right? Fiona, I will make you know how it feels to lose the most cherished things.”
Leroy clapped his hands and a few people wearing white coats walked in, looking fierce and menacing.
Fiona’s eyes were filled with fear. “What, what are you going to do? I was your niece–in–law, the future chairman’s wife. I have your blood in my belly, you can’t touch me.”
Leroy laughed like a devil from hell, “Madam Chairman? You forced Bryanna out and thought you could take her place?”
“Take out the dirt inside her body, no anesthesia allowed, and then watch her swallow it alive.”
Those people dragged Fiona away, and soon after, her screams echoed throughout the entire villa.

When we traveled to Icemill, Elaina and I both fell in love with the auroras here.
Such dazzling beauty, even the most skilled photographer could not capture one–tenth of its
stunning splendor.
After discussion, we decided to temporarily reside here and, by the way, start working on writing
the script.
In addition to writing scripts, I also fell in love with sea fishing and often took the catch to the
harbor to sell.
That day, Elaina and I were haggling with a stingy man over a fish.
Suddenly, a familiar voice rang out, “I bought all of the seafood.”
Leroy just appeared in front of me.
He gazed at me with a mixture of obsession and longing, and after a while, he softly spoke as if
afraid of shattering a dream, “Bryanna, I have finally found you.
Before I could say anything, Elaina transformed into a fighter jet and shielded me behind her. She

fiercely scolded Leroy, “You scumbag, how dare you look for Bryanna? Do you think she hasn’t suffered enough because of you? Get lost, we won’t even sell our things to you to feed the dogs.”
Leroy, a person who cares about his reputation, was scolded mercilessly but did not argue back. Guiltily and pleadingly, he said to me, “Bryanna, I know I am a beast. I am sorry for what I have done to you. Can we talk privately?”
I said indifferently, “Leroy, the relationship between you and me is no longer one where we can have a private conversation.”
“You don’t need to apologize to me, go back.”
Leroy stubbornly shook his head, “No, Bryanna, I finally found you after so much effort, how can I let you leave my side again? I didn’t sign the divorce agreement, so you are still my wife.”
Elaina was so angry that she wanted to rush over and hit her, but I stopped her, so she wouldn’t dirty her hands.
I looked at Leroy and sarcastically laughed, “So what do you want then? Do you want me to go back and continue being your wife? Leroy, I have already lost eight children and can no longer conceive. I can’t provide nourishment for your Fiona anymore. She must have already given birth to your children, so why are you still coming to me?”
Leroy’s face turned pale as he shook his head in panic, “No, Bryanna, I didn’t think that way.
“The bodies of those children, they were not given by me, she bribed people around me to deliberately provoke you, how could I be so heartless…”
I interrupted him with a cold laugh, “So what? Just because it wasn’t you who gave it, you’re innocent and can be forgiven, right?”
