Chapter 446
She struggled in panic as the man behind her grabbed her arm tightly.
“Let go of me! Don’t touch me!” Beatrice weakly exclaimed.
The
person
behind her held her tighter, their hot breath spraying on the side of her face, and whispered, “It was me.”
It was Caden.
Beatrice hesitated for a moment, but still resisted being touched by others, muttering in her mouth, “No, don’t touch me…”
Caden frowned, his voice lowering a few notches.“You were fed a banned drug, the liquid in this syringe can neutralize the substance and prevent you from getting addicted.”
Upon hearing, Beatrice’s mind grasped a hint of clarity, thinking about what Mark had done, causing her body to uncontrollably tremble.
Caden seemed to sense her fear and held her tightly, saying in a deep voice, “It’s okay.”
The man across immediately put away the syringe and medication, saying, “Mr. Caden, it’s done.”
Caden coldly spoke, “Destroyed.”
The man nodded and quickly disappeared at the door.
The cold medicine flowed through Beatrice’s veins, and she did not feel comfortable. Instead, her body felt as if it was being gnawed.
“I feel so uncomfortable… Let go of me…”
“You need to adapt, hold on,” Caden clenched her resistant wrist.

Beatrice’s wrist had been bound by Mark, the horrifying scars still not faded away, when suddenly it was gripped again, causing her to gasp in
pain.
The discomfort in her body kept pressing down on the grievances that churned incessantly in her heart.
Her voice choked up, “Don’t you bother! Go away! What do you want to save me for? I have nothing left for you to exploit!”
“Don’t make a fuss,” Caden said coldly, and he slightly loosened his grip upon noticing the scars on her wrist.
What’s going on?
Beatrice wished she could make a scene.
But she didn’t even have the qualification to make a fuss.
Perhaps the medication took effect, and she regained some strength, pushing Caden away with all her might.
“What’s the big deal about causing a scene? Who do you think you are to control me? You’re always like this, why are you always like this?”
She couldn’t describe how it felt, but she felt frustrated and uncomfortable.
After raising her voice, her brain lacked oxygen a bit, and her body shook as she walked towards the door.
Suddenly, a voice came from behind and Beatrice was rudely pulled back.
The man crazily bit her lips, showing his ferocity, with a gloomy and displeased look in his eyes.
A few seconds later, their lips met, and the man’s intense dark eyes stared at her, as he spoke with a gritted teeth tone.
“What did you say I was to you?”
Beatrice was stunned and didn’t understand what Caden meant.
It sounds like asking for credit.
But how could there be any official recognition between them?
His favorite person was Madelynn, he was just using her.
