After a moment of thought, Liliana looked at Finnian, her voice laced with hurt as she began, “Finn, I know you and Amara haven’t officially divorced yet, but I can’t help feeling sad. People keep calling me a homewrecker.” 

Finnian’s expression darkened. “Who’s been saying that to you?” 

“Just some people online and a few in the crew.” 

“Don’t worry about that,” Finnian said. “I’ll have someone handle it.”

She hesitated for a while before tugging on Finnian’s sleeve. “Finn, could you promise me something?” 

“What’s it?” 

She rose on her tiptoes and whispered in his ear. Finnian’s brow furrowed as he instinctively wanted to argue, but the look of vulnerability on Liliana’s face and the thought of the child she was carrying stopped him short. 

Later that evening, the entertainment world was rocked by a bombshell. The popular actress Liliana, who had been rumored to be romantically involved with a film project’s backer, and caught in a scandal, announced her pregnancy!
